What is the Field of View?

The Field of View is 12 to 1, so at 12 inches, the measuring spot is 1" (2" at 24" etc.) Make sure the object being tested is bigger than the spot size.

What is the advantage of the dual beam lasers?

The lasers converge at the optimum measuring point, which is especially important when measuring small objects.

What is Emissivity?

Emissivity determines how reflective an object is. The meter can be adjusted for measuring objects with different reflectivity.

What is the measuring range?

The meter can measure temperature from -58 F to 1382 F (-50 C to 750 C)

    Read the temperature of most things I pointed it at. And it did it rather quickly. Takes a nine volt battery that is provided. Read the instructions for information of all its features. Made with heavy plastic to keep the electronics safe. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

    Product is great for checking hot spots on a wood smoker. Got it initially thinking it would be useful for checking temps during the pandemic... I was dead wrong as it reads about 2-3 low on skin. Dealing with high temps this thing is a life savor. I mapped out a Lang 108s temp zones with it. Wouldn’t trade it for the world.

    Used it mainly to check the temperature on my fermentation jars and the area where I kept them. After 4 months the accuracy is off.

    Do not recommend buying this item if you expect it to last. I was initially impressed with it and like using it but if you consider my experience (worth avoiding this product or buy insurance for it).

    OK for kitchen or other household uses at this price. We didn't have a medical thermometer, but many were sold out or ridiculously expensive. This will do with a little care about technique. Use it orally from very close range for best body temperature results. Open wide, but don't say "Ahhh."
