Amazing sharpness and smooth bokeh at all apertures. Autofocus as if it was an older generation lens, noisey, slower, but good enough to capture my kids running at the camera and macro of flowers getting blown around by the wind. Looses track and racks focus too often.
Still giving it 5 stars for the best image quality of any f2.8 35mm lens on e mount while having decent AF and incredibly cheap price. No chromatic aberrations, super sharp even wide open and smooth out of focus areas at all apertures...

Seems like the one I got may have been a return because this is what it looked like when I opened it. Bag was ripped open and paperwork was out and the cover lens on the mount side was off and on the side. Not sure what’s going on but I am returning. Kinda bummed

All in all I have attached a photo that was taken with this lens paired with an A7RIII and it’s amazing the detail it gets for the price. I’d buy it again and again.

Great for indoors in not so dark areas, close up shots such as food/items.
The only problem is the slow focus speed when you move fast. But, for this price its acceptable.
