The Bad: First off, the clips DO NOT rotate 360 degrees as pictured in the description. You can only clip the device straight up and down, which limits where you can place it. It needs to be stable and worn high up, but its hard without having the device swing around. The device is heavy/solid, so it will sag on a shirt or in a pocket, it needs a stable base. I also dont trust the plastic the clip slides into, they dont seem very strong. #2: the audio in the video playback is HORRIBLE. I clipped this in the V of my shirt about 10" below my chin and everything I say is garbled and muffled (think Charlie Browns teacher). People a few feet from me recorded in the video sound okay, but I cant understand a word I am saying. I thought it was due to the playback speaker, but when listening and watching on another decice, audio is bad. Video clarity is great, even in low light and night as long as you have some light. The IR does not come on automatic, but I dont think you need it unless you are in pitch black conditions. I have a TV with a USB input & this device plugs right into it with the provided cable and I can select most clips on the tv screen, watch them on the TV and even ffw & rwd on the tv screen. Some of the videos will not show up for some reason even though they playback on the device. I havent tried to download clips to another device & save them yet. It has a "HDMI" port but it is smaller than a standard HDMI, so not sure what that is. The video clips can be set for length up to 15 min long. The good thing is it only divides the clips in these increments. It will keep recording unless you stop it, so a one hour video will be divided into 4, 15 minute clips, almost like chapters. I picked this unit because it was a trade off of thinner than some of the other units offered, but still had a decent size to manipulate controls with the hand & video battery/storage/capacity. You can also erase items on the unit itself without having to download to a PC first. Still pretty thick, especially to hang off a shirt. If the audio worked and I had a versatile case with a rotating clip, it would almost be 4 to 5 stars.

This camera is not worth the money I dropped it one time and my video record button mess up now I can’t record when I want to and the motion censer button is useless because it stays on for 9 seconds then stops even when theirs movement, also the voice is terrible you can’t hear yourselves talk it sounds horrible I just lost $120 for buying this crappy body cam I do not recommend this product to anyone don’t waste your money like I just did smfh
