When this phone was released, it had the best cameras, the fastest CPU, and the most powerful GPU(per Dxomark and Antutu). It was the very best you could buy. Today it is still one of the very best. I also have the Mate 30 Pro. It is a beast. But, the Mate 40 Pro is even better. No other phones, other than Huawei, have the features that this phone has. Just look at it and it will light up and show the time and date. Hold your hand over it and look at it, it will unlock. You can answer calls on speaker with a hand gesture(without even touching the phone), incase you are eating BBQ or working on your car and your hands are dirty. I could go on. I have the GMS apps that I use ie; Facebook(native/logged in), Google App w/ Assistant, Maps Go(both native/ not logged in), Youtube Vanced(logged in), and Gspace(virtual GMS), for any other app that I may need in the future.

Beautiful in design and very fast speed with a lot of new features such as the phone can be open with facial recognition and transfer easily of data from old phone to new phone wireless... etc. The best picture taken by the camera as compared to my wife new I-phone. Google map can be replaced by "Here WeGo" or TomTom. Most of the Google apps I had in my old phone are already written by the developer for Huawei. Apps can easily be downloaded with Petal or Huawei AppGallery.
