Featuring a fast 0.2-second trigger speed and 110' infrared flash, the Core DS-4K produces motion-activated 32MP photos and 4K 30 fps video
  • Choose to have the camera operate during the day, at night, or both, and take 1-6 photos per trigger. The Field Scan mode will grab a shot at user-selectable intervals for time-lapse surveillance. You can choose from four trigger sensitivity settings, which can cut down on unnecessary shots, and set the interval between triggered captures from 0.6 seconds to 60 minutes to avoid clogging up your card with redundant images

I have 3 Bushnells. The newer ones keep getting better resolution, but the screens are getting too small.I use a card reader to check the view because the screed is to small to see details. On this one the buttons are micro-sized. there is no middle "set up" -just on or off. You need either long fingernails or tweezers to remove the card. The half-size door is harder to open and latch, and the battery drawer requires removing the tripod mount. Most bothersome, setting the time requires a magnifying glass because the contrast is poor and the numbers are about a 2-3 point font. But the videos are great! It uses 6 batteries instead of 8, but they seem to last as long between recharges. The photos compare it with my next newest model

I bought this camera because it was well rated in multiple reviews. I have always thought Bushnell products were fairly top shelf. I have had two issues, one I resolved myself, one still unresolved. I call the contact us line-they only take names and call back -sometime, but will I be able to get the call?? I go on line and do contact us and state my issue (Battery pack needs changing and the tray is stuck and will not come out). Seems simple enough, just tell me what to do. Oh, no, I get a snit gram that i have left my question at the wrong place and I am given a link. I click the link-Same DANG Form. Thinking I have made some type of error, I fill it out again, send and get the same message. This is their protocol, I got the same response on the first problem and then a phone call about a week later to call them. After the Contact us debacle, I called about 8:30-9:00 am one morning last week and the message was "if you called to leave your number, we are not taking anymore messages today". Seriously, I will never consider a Bushnell product again.

Pros: Long range motion detection, sharp video. Lithium batteries work. higher pitch sound is good.

Cons: Left side of lens was blurry. Not a wide angle lens. Motion sensor picks up objects coming into view from the left, but not the right. Audio does not pick up some animal sounds or people talking. Files are in MOV format so takes up more space. Time stamp on the MOV files are incorrect. Does not have contrast ignore setting like some cameras have for night video, so if there is an object in the foreground like a pole, anything behind it will be black.

Note: Only tested 1080p video on the 24 hr setting

I bought this because it was a top rated unit with no glow LEDs and high resolution. It takes only daytime images. No night images at all. My home security camera showed a bobcat walk right up to the unit and I got absolutely nothing. Contacted Bushnell and they basically showed no interest in helping me troubleshoot the unit. I expected much more from an American company. Returning to Amazon.

Had one of these cameras which worked great and took beautiful video so thought I'd buy another. This one has serious issues. The day time pictures are great but when twilight closes in it can't decide which lens to use resulting in grainy footage. At night the issue is worse 50% of the time all I get is a black screen image. Not happy as I've always used bushnell camera's and not had problems. Maybe it's time to change.
Bought another as when they work they are great. This one refuses to take video in colour all I get are black and white shots. It takes nice video in sepia but I want colour.
