I've had the z-flip 1 and 3 and they lasted a couple of years.

My first gripe, however the handset itself had a low battery when I got it out of the box, so I immediately plugged it in, for some reason which I cannot fathom it got stuck in a boot loop and I dont know why.
Its also worth knowing at this point, that powering on the device with simply the power button, does not work anymore, it has now changed to power and either up or down key to start, reboot or shutdown the phone.
so what I do know is plugging the charger in with a very very low battery sends it round in a circle (You have to unplug the charger, press power and down to power the phone and then insert the charger)
My second gripe, was that I was..encouraged to use a cable with one end of a USB C and the other of a Lightning port, this was not supplied in the box, but luckily I had one to hand, this was to connect my iphone to my Motorola directly and share the data. The battery was low and having tried this once as the faster option, it certainly didnt seem that way. It transferred half the storage and then the battery went flat. I tried again via wireless and it seemed quicker but no option to communicate with whats app after the transfer has been done.
Rant over, apart from that the phone Aesthetically beats Samsung hands down, with a small external display on Samsung flip being matched with a larger external screen on the Motorola Razr. The phone is a nice weight, and seems durable, when I got into the phone there was only one uneccesary app with a robot on it called 'Robot odyssey' or something similar. I didnt want that app but couldnt remove it either.
It has been just under 24 Hours, and Ive been using the phone quite heavily, installing apps, as well as setting up email, and listening to music, Ive still got 60% left on the battery which Im very impressed by.
All in all Im going to let the semantics of using the phone out of the box, because Motorola have given me exactly what I wanted, a 5G Motorola Razr based on the old flip phones of 2007. Its aesthetically beautiful and fits nicely in your pocket.
Glad I got it.
Thankyou Motorola to build a perfect phone.
And I am so glad that I finally got a better option then I phone or Samsung. Go for it guys
