    This isn't an f2 lens. If you open all the way up to f2 you're going to be wondering if you missed focus because of how soft it is at that aperature. It's really more of an f2.8 or 3.5 ... Just an fyi I don't like this lens and I own it.

    Construcción de una calidad realmente magnifica y con un diseño muy bonito si te gustan los objetivos estilo vintage.
    Me ha sorprendido bastante el enfoque, es rápido e inaudible aunque te lo pegues a la oreja. El objetivo en la mano impresiona, se le ve muy robusto y de muy alta calidad, y el tacto de los anillos es muy bueno y agradable. El parasol es también metálico y estriado. Aberración cromática casi inexistente, tiene algo de distorsión y viñeteo en f2 pero se corrige automáticamente en Lightroom o Capture One.
    Es muy nítido, y me ha sorprendido gratamente porque hasta los bordes son nítidos excepto en f2 que en las esquinas pierde un poco de nitidez, pero es bastante normal y es en las mismas esquinas del marco. Lo he comparado con el Sony 35 f1.8 que ahora es mas barato, pero este si que pierde mucha nitidez en los bordes sobretodo de f1.8 a f4, el enfoque es algo ruidoso, y la construcción, sin ser mala, no tiene nada que ver. Aparte sufre de aberraciones cromáticas, cosa que el Sigma no. También he comparado los colores, y es curioso como puede variar tanto de un objetivo a otro. El Sigma es mas fiel al color real. El contraste es muy bueno en todo el cuadro. El Sony en contraste es un poco mejor en el centro, pero cae mas en los bordes. Lo comparo con el Sony por si le es útil a alguien que este dudando entre estos dos objetivos.
    A pesar de que es mas caro y algo menos luminoso, me quedo el Sigma. En mi opinión juega en una liga un poco superior, no es un G Master, pero en mi opinión, esta mejor que el Sony f1.8 y por este precio no hay nada mejor que yo conozca o haya probado.

    En monture E il y a beaucoup de 35mm différents, qui peuvent même paraitre plus intéressants que ce f/2 Contemporary. Il y a par exemple le f/1.4 Art de la même marque, à peine plus cher, ou le f/1.8 de Samyang, presque moitié moins cher et bien plus léger. Le 35mm f/2 Contemporary se démarque surtout par son design et sa construction tout métal, sa bague de diaphragme (malheureusement non déclicable) et son bouchon magnétique.
    Personnellement, j'aime beaucoup son look un peu "vintage", mais sa qualité optique, bien que bonne, n'est pas parmi les meilleures et je peux imaginer que la version f/1.4 ou le Samyang soit plus petinents pour beaucoup de gens.
