    It is suitable for recording and live-sound applications as well as for ENG/EFP and video productions. Its gold sputtered capsule housing makes the microphone extremely rugged against humidity. If no phantom power is available, the C1000 S can be powered by two standard AA batteries for up to 120 hours. More versatile than ever before, the new C1000 S features a bass-cut switch and a switchable -10 dB pad. The polar pattern can quickly be switched from cardioid to hyper-cardioid. Three different frequency settings are adding more clarity to speech and instrument sounds.

    My friend has two of these; he highly recommended this microphone, so I bought one. This has become my every-day use microphone. He uses his mic for on-stage for live performances, because, like a good hand-held stage mic, it has noise and extraneous noise rejection from anywhere but where it's pointed at, and in very close proximity is the key feature of this microphone. I like the sound I get from this mic. I like the quality of recorded tracks I get from this mic. If you don't have the pristine recording studio conditions, and are looking for a mic that sounds really good and has excellent noise rejection from the environment, this microphone is a good choice. The quality of the sound of this mic has me considering other AKG microphones now. Thanks AKG.

    I set this mic up right side of house in front of and below house speaker to see how it would do capturing the congregation for recording. When I asked persons to speak from the pews I could hear myself clearly over the monitor headphones. I was 70ft away at FOH. I didnt have it routed to stereo out so I know it was all from the mic.

    Il "coltellino svizzero dei microfoni" lo è davvero. Da tenere SEMPRE di riserva, ma la qualità non lo fa sfigurare come "primo microfono". Con il cardioide ad apertura customizzabile e la doppia alimentazione (phantom esterno o batteria interna) vi puo' salvare la serata o la seduta di registrazione.
    Dignitosissima risposta in frequenza, piatta quanto basta a registrare dalla canzoncina della bambina al sax più sexy. Carrozzeria robusta da picchiarlo in testa al fan più scatenato. Feeling "gommaceo" e ottimo grip. Un ottimo microfono condensatore da stage, e un sacco di altre cose nello stesso tempo.
