A good board, with some caveats.
    5 Stars
A good board, with some caveats.
This board is overall very solid. No real complaints. It's an entirely enclosed in plastic, and it has the pudding keycaps which people are going to either really like or hate. The switches themselves are linear, but the force of the press feels like a little more force is required than just a regular Cherry MX Red. The board has a very loud sound, it sounds kind similar to a Model M board, very thockey, less metallic mixed in though. If you're new to mechanical keyboards, just know that this board is loud, but not the loudest compared to clicky switches.Lighting is adjusted all on the keyboard. There is no software to download to adjust any of the features or anything like that, just key combos. So, a massive plus compared to having to download something like Razer Synapse or Cosair's awful software. Though, I don't think most keyboard enthusiasts are going to bother with those brands anyway. This is more of a head's up for those dipping into mechanic boards for gaming.Volume knob is very nice. It's a click style, that has steps, rather than a freeform knob. My only complaint is that there is a button press when you press down on the knob. I was really, really hoping it was a play/pause button, it usually is, but in this case its a mute all audio button. Which, is almost a deal breaker for me.Overall, I would recommended because this thing is cheap and solid.

Had a full sized razer keyboard but wanted to move down to something smaller while still having arrow keys. I came across this as a budget option but I’m not sure how it could be labeled as such. Feels extremely nice, decent weight, needs no software to control RGB, AND mechanical keys that you can swap out if you would like. The only trouble was finding a wrist rest to fit. Found a gammakay one on Amazon as well that works great.
