I added some pictures but they don't do justice to it 4K video abilities. This monitor looks very good in 4K.
I am using this monitor in its native resolution at 144Hz driven by my MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Gaming X 8G Graphics Card and it works perfect - no tearing at all just great viewing. I find this monitor with my graphics card to be very fast and responsive.
The only down side to this monitor is its brightness at only 250 Nits, so a true 4K display its not but it sure looks good.
This in my own opinion is a great monitor and a great price. If it last and has no repair problems then I will have a real winner.
Very satisfied and would recommend for a great buy.

The screen is HUGE (coming from a 24-inch) and the color settings out of the box are workable to start, although you can tweak them to your liking. No speakers but I almost consider that a plus, since I've never had a monitor with speakers that sounded better than a kid's walkie-talkie. Cannot comment on the Freesync because we don't have the right graphic cards for it.
You can do a quick search to find and install Acer's display widget, which is very nice in that it allows you to change settings on the desktop and includes the option to have different display settings for different programs or games. It also has a built-in split screen setup with several layouts to choose from. That's very handy and with a monitor this size, I use it a lot to multitask.
But even if you don't get the widget, this is probably the first monitor I've owned where the controls do not want to make me pull my hair out. There is a little joystick on the back and it works just as you'd expect it to work. You push in to activate it or select, and you push up, left or right and the option selection moves the same. It's a simple thing but it's really nice to have controls that are intuitive.
I've never had a curved screen, but it's very nice. Between the size, higher refresh rate and the curve, games are VERY immersive and we are enjoying the games we've been playing more than ever because we're seeing a higher level of detail and you really feel like you're in the game as opposed to watching the game on a screen.
The only design complaint was the way the cables go in when you set up is very awkward. This is, however, a one-time frustration and not a daily issue, so it's easy enough to overlook.
I would not hesitate to recommend this monitor to anyone. We love ours!!
That being said, I really like this monitor. Can it be better? Maybe, but it was a huge upgrade for me so I'm please with it. I wanted a larger monitor for work and gaming, as my previous 23" monitor was good but made working with multiple programs difficult. This 32" monitor is an absolute beast. I can easily fit multiple windows/tabs on screen to multitask. The curve looks good too. At first it threw me off (having stared at a flat screen for so many years), but after a few months after purchasing I barely notice it. The picture quality is pretty great. 1440p is a huge upgrade from 1080p, so I'm pleased. Having said that it didn't make as big of a difference as the refresh rate though (in my opinion). Going up to 144Hz from 60Hz is insane and immediately noticeable both on the desktop and in games. I'll never go back. It's also Freesync compatible, which I haven't been able to make use of just yet but plan to in the future (RTX3080 whenever they make more...).
Other reviews here have criticized the color, which I agree can use some adjusting, but it's fine once you get the settings right. My biggest issue is a combination of the size and brightness of this monitor. It's just too bright for me. I'm honestly having a hard time putting it far enough away from my face that I can properly utilize it. From reading elsewhere, a monitor this size can sit between 3-5 feet away from you for optimal viewing. I currently sit around 2-3' away from it, and it's a bit of a strain on the eyes. I crank the brightness all the way down and have everything on dark mode to compensate, but still it's a bit bright. I plan to get a bigger desk at some point and will mount it farther away, but something to be wary of if you're pinched for space.
In addition to this, be wary if you buy the 32" version compared to the 27" version. In my case, the pixel density of my old 23" 1080p monitor was actually higher than this 32" 1440p monitor, while the 27" version would have been the highest option. On this (32" version), If I'm sitting up close I can actually see pixels at certain points. I can also see some horizontal lines between pixels when using certain screens (more visible on text than anywhere else). Apparently this 'screen door' effect is common for VA panels but again if I sit back to a more comfortable distance I don't see it at all. I didn't know about this going in but honestly it's not a big issue for me.
I mentioned earlier that it could be better, and I say that meaning you could buy a more expensive monitor that does some or all of the things this one does but better. Need a faster monitor with even better refresh rates? Go with a TN panel. Want better picture quality? Get an IPS panel. But these also have tradeoffs, namely the TN panels having worse pictures and the IPS panels being quite expensive. When I was looking, IPS panels with high refresh rates and high resolution at THIS SIZE along with Freesync or Gsync seemed to be running in the $500-600+ range, and that's on the lower end. Some of the high end monitors are well over $1000. This monitor was on a crazy sale for $300 when I found it which worked for my budget and was already a monumental upgrade from what I had. If you can find it for a decent price, this is a great monitor.
Top reviews from other countries
my old display was a 22" 1080p tn monitor so when I turned this monitor on I was legitimately stunned, this screen is beautiful. Before I purchased this I was thinking 32" would be too big but after using it for a bit I don't think I will ever go smaller than 32". From the reviews it seems like some people had issues with their panels like dead pixels or lines but so far mine is working great with no issues. Freesync works as intended. 144hz is really nice in FPS games compared to 60hz. You can definitely tell the difference between the two, even in windows moving around the mouse & scrolling is much smoother.
It really sucks.
It is a good screen, but this alone means that I'm stuck with a dud screen unless I'm willing to pay 200$ CAD just to get it replaced.
This review is for the 32" AcerED323QUR, 1440P which I purchased on Prime day for $359.
This monitor replaced my 25" 1080p 240hz TN panel, since I no longer play FPS games competitively. Decided to opt for a larger monitor for casual play, and I'm glad I went for 1440p for 32". The pixel density matches 1080p at 24".
I can definitely notice a difference coming from 240hz 1ms, but its marginal, and a non-issue for most games. I also like that it's G-sync compatible at 120hz.
Note, since this monitor is not too popular, it might take some times to calibrate the colors to your liking, especially without a tool.
