The different sound modes and features do actually work for the most part too. 3d Surround should always be on in my opinion, as it emulates true surround sound and just sounds better. The Clear Dialogue option does actually make dialogue much louder and clearer if you need it. The gaming modes in particular do actually seem to work as intended. The FPS mode in particular does highlight things like footsteps better than other modes. However, it is still not as good as headphones so if you are being really competitive stick with them.
The Final thing is the price. In my opinion, it is worth the roughly ~$266 I paid for it as it was exactly what I was looking for and sounds great. However, it is still a little pricy and there are other options in this price range. If it goes on sale for ~$200 I'd say you have no reason not to buy it.
PC: Install Dolby Access app to activate Dolby Atmos (Free of charge, the app only charge if you use Atmos for headphone), Netflix and PC games all sound great.
PS4 Pro: Select HDMI and LPCM sound format can output lossless 7.1 to the sound bar to play with, games like Nier benefit a lot. And it still can run 4K 60fps with HDR normally.
Switch: Select Surround sound format (LPCM 5.1) when dock to enjoy lossless 5.1 surround audio from Switch games!
My old speaker is Creative Katana, it also sound great but only can input stereo 2.0 from Switch which kill a lots of surround effect. PS4 with Dolby digital 5.1 is also highly compressed, and for PC the virtual 7.1 surround effect design by Creative is not as natural as Dolby Atmos so in my opinion SoundSlayer is better then Katana.
The downside I found at the moment is only one HDMI input so you must add some HDMI hubs if you like me got a few systems in the desk.
Another problem is when using in Windows PC it tend to get into rest when there is no audio playing, so when there is audio start like playing music or YouTube video may need to wait a few secs for the sound to kick in, quite annoying, but it doesn't affect gaming as if there is constant audio it will not act this way.
lastly, the Bluetooth of this sound bar is just a outdated 2.1 and poor SBC connection as shown by the third photo. So forget about the Bluetooth function, it's sucks! Use the HDMI only for best experience!

Response to sound-shamers: Well, i AM an audiophile. This unit sounds great for the appropriate application--under your PC monitor for gaming, not necessarily to fill your living room theater.
It is fairly small, has decent bass response, and the cinema setting is good for watching movies.
I have it setup in a large room to replace a cheap sound bar for the livingroom TV, and it is probably more well suited as it’s advertised: a sound system for a PC gamer. The 3D surround effect does not sound like a real 5.1 system, but it does sound “wider”.
The different game modes do pack a decent punch, I’ve tried the FPS setting on Fortnite and Mortal Kombat 11, and it’s a noticable improvement over my cheap Taotronics soundbar (which was excellent value for the price).
TV and film dialogue is super clear as advertised, even without the dialogue enhanced setting.
Overall, this is a good compact sound system with decent bass response, and some smart settings for gamers, or for anyone looking to upgrade their TV sound without investing in a full surround system or wanting to run cables everywhere.
Price point is a little high for what you get, and I’d probably rate this 5 stars if it was under $200.
This is a review from the perspective of an average customer.
I wanted a sound-bar for the TV located in my bedroom. This sound bar does the trick!
1. It’s small & fits perfectly on top of the stand holding up my 48inch LG CX TV.
2. It has HDMI ARC, so i can control the volume using my TV remote.
3. Sound is just perfect for a bedroom.
It wouldn’t be as great for a spacious living room but for a bedroom it gets the job done!
I’m actually surprised the Dolby Atoms works fairly well on this for a small space & i feel the subwoofer when the volume is up and watching an action movie or playing a game.
Again only works well in a bedroom or small living rooms. It can not compete or compare with a full fledge sound bar meant for a living room because of its small size.

Well, let me tell you, this thing sounds amazing. I'd say it works excellent for Retro Games, like Super Nintendo, Nintendo (it even doubles the mono audio which is nice instead of just playing it on one side). It sounds like a very top end television from the 90s with extra bass.
That said, I would never use this if I were watching a 55 inch flatscreen watching movies or streaming on Netflix. Nope! I mean, you could, but this this is designed to sit probably no more than a meter or two away from you. So it could work for PC gaming if you set that up right.
Anyways, I really like this, it suits my purposes.

- Tried Bluetooth and optical on my computer and everything works like a charm.
Edited on Feb.12, 2022:
Ordered again and received brand new one, I've been using it for over a month now and so far so good. It is a pretty decent soundbar, and it sounds quite good.
It has adequate Bass for the size, dialogue is crisp in movies and the bluetooth music feature is flawless. And videogame use is clearly where this excels as the name implies.
Understand that is by no means some 7.1 or 9.1 speaker setup, but the sound created filled the room quite nicely!
