    Hello, Joshua
I had been using the same old giant tower for years (it had a 3.5" drive) but I really had to retire that monster. I think it was using USB 0.1.So I went and built a new machine, using a nice compact NZXT case. Which was fine for a one-time build. But every time I had to get in there to replace or add a part, it was a nightmare. There was just no room in the case for cable management, and figuring out the PSU cables was like unraveling Christmas lights for the tree. So I decided I had to go back to a giant tower. Please note that I did not buy the Air 740 for the air flow, but for the spaciousness. And boy does the Corsair Air 740 abide. So roomy, but not so roomy that you need extensions for any cables. The space was appropriate for a Kraken cooler, and I used all my extra fans to use all the fan slots for overkill air flow. I've had to get in there to do some internal hard drive management, and it was a cinch. For those who know their Corsair cases, the rubber cable holes are so convenient and nice and makes organization easier. The hatch seemed like a gimmick until I realized that this case is large enough to make the hatch a real convenience. The Air 740 is one big mammajamma. Make sure you have both width and height space for your desk or wherever you keep it.It felt so big and clunky, yet superpowered, that I added a little nerd decal, shown in the pic.

This is my first dual compartment case and my third Corsair case. I picked another Corsair because I also use one of their 280mm all in one (AIO) coolers (H110iv2). The case makes it easy to mount the radiator without having to worry if it will fit or not. This said, not all Corsair cases fit all radiator sizes but the 740 has many mounting options for radiators, and can usually fit more than one at the same time. In other words, this case is very large but doesn’t look very large. It’s very wide, but not as tall as my previous towers.
Case came in well packaged in Styrofoam and wrapped in a black mesh bag in mint condition.
The 740 comes with three, non-LED 140mm fans (looks like Corsair AF140) all fitted with speed controls (pwm) and they are pre-attached (2 front intake, 1 back exhaust). Case has no fans on the power supply /storage/cable management side of the case. Large air grilles are on the top, bottom, front and back, and there’s a small air intake for the ATX power supply. There’s a magnetic filter mesh front and power supply side only. I don’t know why Corsair didn’t include filters for the bottom or the top where presumably most people mount their AIO radiator where you do want the dust filter.
Top and side panels are held in place by thumb screws. The side door for the motherboard is made of plastic (not glass) and the handle works well. Tight fit everywhere – the panels line up well so putting panels back in is easy because thumb screw holes actually line up in this case (unlike other cases I’ve had where putting panels back seems always harder than needed).
There are four plastic feet with a rubberized bottom under the case – those have about a 1”/2.5cm clearance from the floor. The case is mostly metal inside wrapped in plastic panels. The plastic panels have this higher end rubberized coating feeling to them.
The case has a USB3.0 connector for the front panel USB slots that fits into a USB 3.0 motherboard header. Mine had one of those for a change. It also hasl as a HD audio connector that I can’t use because my motherboard doesn’t have this header, a LED switch button (also I can’t use because I don’t have that header). The standard power, power LED and reset button wires are there. I don’t understand why the power LED came in two headers instead of one – but all the headers are labeled, and they also mark positive/negative leads for easy hook up. Cables are also long and can reach anywhere on an ATX size motherboard unlike some other cases I have had where extension wiring was needed.
Installation of my components was very simple and convenient because there’s plenty of space, and the wide rubber lined grommets for the wiring between the storage/power supply side of the case and the motherboard side make cable management easy, coupled with plenty of room to hide the wires. I also like that Corsair put a center motherboard support peg instead of a screw mount for the post – when installing the motherboard, it holds it in place exactly over the other posts for easy attachment.
The motherboard CPU back plate is accessible from the back when the mb is installed.
I have about 1”/2.5cm clearance between the top of my motherboard and the bottom of my H110i cooler with fans installed, so plenty of room to attach wiring.
All in all, this is one of the better cases I’ve had and there’s nothing like having room to install or change components for a change. Its best feature is plenty of room for cable management, leaving maximum airflow in the case. No problem running at room temperature inside this case.

I like this case a lot compared to my other two Corsair Carbide cases and three Thermaltake. It’s reasonably light, has no sharp edges and good fit/finish. Makes things very easy to setup.

Not to nitpick but there are a few things I think could be improved:
    - a better reset switch on the front panel (that button is just not very satisfying)
    - front audio connectors that match current generation (Q1 2017) motherboard audio headers
    - add magnetic dust mesh filters bottom and top at this price point
    - RGB LED fans should be included at this price point (strange that the case includes a LED button but no LED fans are included?)

    Observation:
When the H110i is installed, there’s a resonance hum from all the fans at medium cooling speed that resonates all over the case. Consider installing rubber mounts for the cooler fans or use fans that spin slower but have higher static pressure than the stock fans. When all the fans are at full speed (case and cooler) – this case is very loud. However, the case design is very good airflow and under normal settings, it’s the quietest build I’ve ever had – moves a lot of air so high speed fans not usually needed.

this is the very best air cooling case on the market; big, beautiful, easy to work in with fan mounts 'everywhere', and I mean it. You have triple 120mm up front, dual 120/140mm top and bottom, and a 120/140mm at the back, the case comes with three 140mm fans rated at 65CFM that are all fairly quite, if you are sneaky, you can use 2 120MM fans up front and a 140mm fan if that large fan has 120mm fan mounts (to my knowledge, some older Noctua fans that are from some CPU coolers are like this). The bottom mount fans are possibly one of the best features of this case, my graphics card that would run into the lower 80C range (heavily overclocked RX 480) under extreme load, now with this case using two Noctua 140mm fans the card runs in the lower 70C range in the same situations (also with my Frankenstein Noctua NF-P14, a Corsair SP fan and an AF fan front setup, plus the 140's that came with the case as top exhaust), this is also with setting the fans on my graphics card a lot lower too. Cable management is a combination of a nightmare and a miracle, unless you are really trying, it is insanely easy to keep cables out of the main compartment into the power supply and storage compartment. The nightmare part is that it is pretty difficult routing cables neatly into the PSU/storage compartment, with the compartment being painted black and most cables being black nowadays, this makes matters worse. On the bright side with that compartment, installing drives is a breeze, same with the power supply. As wonderful as this case is, incredible cooling and looks like a speaker from the Bat Cave but it isn't perfect; the PSU/storage side panel could have had a nice pull handle like the motherboard side, the bottom fans could have also had filters, but I do have an extreme complaint with the motherboard side panel window. This door is perfectly designed, but not perfectly executed, it sags a little so you sometimes you have to lift the door for it to completely closes, but be careful with it, if you try dusting the acrylic with so much as a napkin, you will scratch it, not severely, but noticeable small scratches that you might be able to remove with a thin clear coat, if Corsair releases a tempered glass version of this case, they should allow glass side windows to be purchased to existing 740 owners to replace these acrylic units. This is a big case but surprisingly compact, it isn't very long which is perfect because the only place I can put a computer is on top of my dresser. Note on noise; if you have a lot of fans and a motherboard with good fan controls or an NZXT Grid+, you can make this case idle pretty silent but having some fans shut down outside of gaming and run the rest at low RPM.

TLDR; this is the perfect air cooling case, just be careful with the side window, I am very unhappy with how easy it is to scratch

This case is MASSIVE. I was under the assumption that this case would be under the somethwhay ‘Normal’ size for a mid tower case; I was completely wrong in a very amazing way. This is one of the most premium and well built cases I’ve ever had the pleasure to own. I’ve built 3 or so computer rigs myself and none have come close to this masterpiece! There is a GIGANTIC amount of sheer space inside, it has room for everything you could possibly want to fit inside it and then some! It is fully modular and the acrylic side panel is a very pleasing feature to have especially if you want to admire your hard work. One of my favorite feautures with this case is that ithas BUILT IN cable management! There is an aluminum wall in between the center of the case where your cables and HDDs are stored, thus making the entire area where the components are, completely CLEAN. This case doesn’t lie when it states that it has maximum airflow, and there’s plenty of areas for as many fans/ liquid cooling radiators as you want! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone wanting something unique and outstanding.

Lo malo cae en que los ventiladores incluidos tienden a hacer vibrar el gabinete por que no traen gomas, el acrílico se raya con mucha facilidad, me esperaba algo de una calidad muy superior a lo que recibí

5.0 out of 5 stars The case I've always dreamed of having
Reviewed in Canada on August 27, 2018
    I always wanted that perfect case. My requirements were;
-Lots of room. In the picture I have a Noctua HS12 with double Arctic PMW 120 fans, no problem.
-Lots of airflow. Added two more Arctic 120's on top, could have added two more but didn't need to.
-Removable door, when I bring my case out to air pressure clean it there's no fumbling with screws, the door simply detaches for easy access.
-A cable management dream case, all cables are easily routed into the right side along with the PSU and Drive bays.
-Easy insert hard drive bay, you can easily mount 3 hard drives and 5 SSD's, as an extra you can also use the Hard Drive bay to mount SSD's. For example I have 2 HD's and 1 SSD in the same bay. So there was no need for the extra SSD bay.
-The minor con in this entire case is that there is no dust filter for the bottom intake, I don't know what Corsair was thinking since nearly all there cases have filters.
-The other con was that for some reason I was only allowed to buy one case, who doesn't want to sell a case?

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS THING IS A MONSTER !!!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 30, 2017
Wow, what a case to build my first PC into. Just a warning to those considering the 740 air, this thing is huge, i mean a monster! But for those of you like me where size does not matter, then your in for a treat. Firstly the dual compartments are an absolute god send, the amount of space you have to play with is just mind boggling. The PSU side is nicely laid out and the vent built in for the PSU to use to breathe is an excellent feature, especially with the included magnetic dust filter. The rest of this space is perfect for those who love to cable manage everything perfectly (i cant say im that way inclined but whatever floats your boat) and the included 2.5" SSD bay and 3.5" HDD bay are high quality and much appreciated additions.

The Motherboard side is where the sheer size of this thing really comes into its own, theres room for quite literally any set up you can think of, so that 2 way watercooled 1080 ti set up youve been craving will not be a problem in here. There is some little features that just make everything while building in this case just so much easier. The cable management grommets are everywhere, giving you that extremely clean look when looking through the perspex window on the left hand side of the case. The motherboard stand offs are already installed and waiting to accept any and all modern motherboards, including my X370 Gaming 5, and the included 3 140mm fans from corsair are absolutely fantastic for stock fans. Theres also an additional magnetic dust filter infront of the 2 front 140mm fans that runs the full height of the case.

Theres space for pretty much any exotic cooling solution you can think of and the ability to fit 3 radiators is something im sure someone out there has already achieved. The only thing that i could point at and say i was disappointed by was the lack of a bottom dust filter below the two 120/140mm intakes. Of all the things to overlook this just seems silly and would make this case just about perfect.

All in all for the price this case is, its a no brainer buy for the watercooling/high airflow enthusiast. The cooling capabilities this provides are great and the ease of use to build in it makes it great for the budding system builder. It can be a little noisy due simply to the amount of air it can move through it, but if your a gamer or content creator youll be spending a majority of your time with a headset on anyway. Do yourself a favour and pick up one of these if your new to building PC'S or if your dream is to have watercooling heaven.

The case looks incredible. I am totally loving it. It's a beast. You get a feeling like you are hosting a server at your home. Functionally too the case is excellent. It has so much space that installing is so simple with this one. It has got many cable management holes that you will never ever run out of them. External material used is a high quality soft touch plastic, and no issue with finger print impressions on the case.

The only issue is that at this price point corsair should have provided superior quality fans with the case. The case is definitely not cheap, but the fans provided are 3 AML140 which spin at a max rpm of 1000. The case should have come with sp120 rgbs. I'm planning to buy sp120 whites for the case.
