It's a lot of mother board for the price, even though I paid nearly 30 dollars more than it's current price -I got it for $219 Dec 14, 2017, Current price is $189 January 17 2018. I wont waste your time with the details. You can read that else where. You want to know, or what you should be asking is,This Board will probably satisfy 99% of buyers with the small exception of IT guys, corporations, or maybe or PC specialist who require multiple CPU on a single MB or features that 99% of us don't need or know about. We can get all techincal and sound like smart asses, but the reality is that this mother board really is the sweat spot between offering "EVERYTHING" and Price. Sure you can debate other MB but trying to find MB for this price and these features will be splitting hairs. Multi GPU, M2, 6x USB 3.1 Gen1 (SuperSpeed USB) , Turbo U.2 Triple Turbo M2 water cooling pump fan support, M2 Shields VR BOOST VR READY ETC ETC, it's hard to beat. Seriously. And to top it all off...it's all usable and all practical.1- How many GPU can you REALLY actually fit? - 2 huge cards, or 3 smaller cards. It is a legitimate 3 GPU motherboard. I'm currently using Zotac GTX 1070 Extreme AMP ( known as the worlds larges GPU) You will not be able to fit three of the Zotacs 1070 amp extreme. But you will be able to fit two, using the bottom PCI slot. Case and GPU limited what I can use. However, if your running anything small than the Zotac gtx 1070 AMP Extreme, then you'll be able to run two with out an issue and three depending on your tower. For gaming nowadays, a single gtx 1070 or 1080 is sufficient to run anything at max resolution. The only time you'll need a multi GPU is to run multiple projectors and screen at the same time.2- Is it stable-Yes. I haven't updated anything for bios. don't care to either. I can OC any portion of the motherboard from the BIOS to pump out powered to anything I have hooked up.Pros-The little OC button on the board allows you OC directly from the board. The little button on the rear allows you to clear what ever issues you had with OC and return it to factory form. A huge plusMotherboard offers a reading of every slot so you can essentially trouble shoot what ever issues you're havingYou can do a diagantostic type of OVERCLOCKING. Basically the mtoher baord will find the best OC setting for youre settingComes with a few usleful OC software to make life easy on youYou can change the lights to a few different colorsThe PCI slots will hold the heaviest GPU you can find for some like myself, we need it. I had my last Motherboard fail on me because of this very same issue. The motherboard is well built, well THOUGHT OUT! AND FUTURE PROOF FOR AT LEAST 5 YEAR FROM NOW. for $220 at 5 years, that's $44 a year, $3.66 a month, which breaks down to a whopping 0.12 cents a day. If I can get this board to run 2.5 years with no issues, I'm a happy camper.ConsFor some reason it was a pain trying to get the i7 6700k with the memory set up that I have to run smoothly on the board. Maybe cause I used a preexisting SSD to reinstall windows, but what ever the case, I had a lot shut downs, crashes and blue screen. I'm not sure if what I did solved the issues, but I reduced my speeds down to 4.8 ghz and 3000 mhz for memory and that seemed to do the trick. I suspect, i may need a clean copy of windows 10 on a new SSDOC can be a pain if you don't know what your doing, luckily they offer a great manual that's detailed on their site.. you have to do a lot of fine tunning if you venture deep into the software of bios to OC and what not. Eventually I gave up and just used to dial to run it at 4.8 and used Memory Extreme. Saved and called it a day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Z270 Motherboard That's Packed With Features
Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2017
I have a verified purchase and review over on Newegg for this motherboard that I wanted to share with everyone here that might be considering a purchase....

Pros: -User Friendly UEFI with a ton of customization and options.
-Awesome and very stable overclocking potential.
-Great layout (fan header locations, M.2 slots, etc.)
    -Aesthetically pleasing color scheme.
    -MSI Utility Software works wonders.
    -RGB Lighting Layout.

Cons: -"RGB" Lighting is very limited. Only a set number of colors are available.
-Fan control within the UEFI is spotty.
-Certain portions of the included manual are very vague.

I built my new Kaby Lake gaming PC using this motherboard just recently. Retired my Ivy Bridge i5 3570K and Z77 platform. So far, in gaming and synthetic benchmarks, it's a significant upgrade.

I have this board paired with an Intel i7 7700K, 32gb Corsair Dominator Platinum SE 3200mhz Memory, EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid, Corsair H115i, Intel 600p 512gb NVMe Drive. Packaging of the motherboard was superb and included everything needed for the build. Everything plugged in and booted into the UEFI flawless the first time. The nice layout with all the fan headers, M.2 slots, SATA ports, etc. made the build that much easier and pleasant. Driver and software installs were seamless and so far everything plays nice together.

I've got the 7700K clocked currently at 4.7ghz, with voltage set to 1.30. I've noticed though that the voltage does not exceed 1.276 at this clock speed under heavy load so there's definitely some room there to overclock even more. A lot of people are getting 5.0ghz out of these i7's with ease.

Aesthetically, this board looks amazing with the carbon/greyish theme. It definitely fits my other hardware choices beautifully.

My only gripes are the following, but certainly not deal breakers:
-The "RGB" lighting options, while they look amazing with the layout MSI chose, you're very limited in your colors. There's only a set number of choices available. If you're trying to fine tune a certain color in, you won't be able to do it. You can get close though.
-Fan control inside the UEFI. I'll admit, I need to mess with it some more, but some of the options I've fiddled with, resulted in some erratic fan speeds. And yes, I am running all 4pin PWM fans in my build. The other downfall is you can only adjust fan speeds based off CPU temps. No option for GPU. I know this is probably asking a lot, but would be awesome if it was available. I know most BIOS options don't have any control over GPU temps unfortunately.
-Manual that ships with the motherboard was vague at times. This might not be a huge deal for some people. Other people on their first time builds might take issue.

All in all, I highly recommend going with this board if you're in the market for a new Kaby Lake build. I've used Gigabyte for years, and I've recently switched over and used MSI for my last couple PC builds now. Everything has been flawless.
