True 144hz, true 1ms, and true 1440p. Absolutely stunning monitor. Barely any hit to FPS in gaming going from 1080p to 1440p on a 7700k and a 1070. Upgrade to a GTX 1080 and I think it'd be golden. Still hitting 144fps in most games except for super open world or high detail games, but even then 90+ is tolerable.
Monitor is absolutely gorgeous and I could never go back to 1080p. Will definitely be buying this again to replace my second monitor when I get a chance.
No dead pixels on arrival, setup was easy, excellent mobility and adjustments, sits sturdy on the desk, has USB passthroughs, extremely slim bezels... I have literally nothing to complain about! For the price, especially, this monitor was absolutely perfect.
If anyone is having similar issues with getting your xbox one x up to those settings:
1. On the monitor, "hdmi 2" is the high speed 2.0 port, not "hdmi 1" which is a 1.4 port
2. In your xbox settings > general > tv & display options > resolution should be at 1440p > refresh rate should be at 120hz
3. If 1440p or 120hz aren't options, click on "video modes" on the right side and make sure "allow variable refresh rate" and "allow ycc 4:2:2" are both checked.
4. If you can't do anything of these things, then either your xbox isn't capable of them (old model) or you were sent the wrong monitor.
5. Just an extra tip to help you along the way... on the monitor OSD settings, navigate down to "OSD" underneath picture, color, audio, and gaming and turn on "refresh rate num" which will display the refresh rate in large yellow print on the top right. This will confirm what refresh rate you are at while messing with settings.
Also, I am unable to turn on my 24hz and 50hz options, but I don't really care. And I never messed around with any TV calibration or any of those other options.
I'll do my best to update this if anything changes. It will remain to be seen if this is actually compatible with the new xbox series coming later this year...
I have 2 negatives so far with this monitor and is the reason I took a star off, one being the sharpness option in the OSD is kinda trash imo because it makes weird extra lines around certain images which get annoying, and the only option is on or off which you kinda have to turn it on otherwise the image is a bit blurry. On my benq you have a wider adjustment level for sharpness which I miss. My 2nd gripe I have with this monitor is my vesa monitor arm does not work with this because it doesn't fit in the square cutout in the back of the monitor so i'm forced to use the stand it comes with.
All in all I would say this monitor is worth it over all the previous generation 240hz monitors especially for the price, except maybe the benq xl2546 since that one has a superior backlight strobing feature.
