Great Value for a mid-high end system!
For something that competes with a card that is $100 more expensive (RTX2070 Super), this thing is awesome, plus it looks sleek.PROTIP: If you are upgrading from an Nvidia card, uninstall all the Nvidia drivers and software before you go ahead and install this one. Additionally, download AMD's Radeon software before you change over, to make setup a breeze when booting with the new card. I had zero driver issues once I got the AMD drivers updated via the Radeon software.Performance is stellar; I had zero crashes or bugs during benchmarking, and the fan speed, while noticeable, wasn't intrusive. Most people are using headphones anyway, assuming they are gaming or are serious about sound quality. I can run Borderlands 3 at 50-70+ FPS and WoW consistently at 100+ FPS. Both of these FPS are at 1440p resolution.I have no doubt your 1080p FPS would be 100+ in most games, easily. This card looks great, I've always liked the look of blowers, even though they aren't as efficient. Speaking of which, I've never brought the temperature of my card close to 90F (I've hit low 80s in some testing). I have two big front facing intake fans, and two exhaust fans on top and rear of my case, for reference.I upgraded from an MSI GTX1060, and I can definitely feel the improvement. If you're into Overclocking, I do recommend an aftermarket version with standard fans, but the stock performance of this card is definitely worth the $400.Overall, I highly recommend this; just uninstall your Nvidia drivers prior to setting this one up and you SHOULD be fine.

Between its clean aesthetics and performance, the 5700XT is great for anyone who is looking to get into entry level high end gaming.
    --------------------------------------
    Pros
    - Great look
    - Performance is as advertised (Basically a non super RTX 2080)
    - Price is far and you get what you pay for
    - Built for Quality by MSI (they are my favorite company for PC components)
    - Easy to install, very little driver hassle (However I have heard otherwise from it's launch)
    - Not all that noisy considering it has a blower style cooler
    Cons
    - It gets a little toasty, however my card seems to do fine for the most part.
    - Blower style, it's not a very effective cooling method however it looks great so...meh
I have heard a lot of issues about this card that should be looked into but it has not been my experience.
People complain about crashing due to heat and to test that I left Besiege running with creations loaded for 24 hrs. Not any issues that I could see or crashes that I knew of. (However my card got toasty but so would my 1080)
The card it not at loud as some people complain, unless you put a microphone in your PC case I don't know how you can hear this thing. It's a blower cooler so yes it will be louder but not really.
The drivers work fine and installed with no issues and run any game with no problems.

NOTICE: Use your critical thinking when reading any reviews concerning AMD products. This is a company that is cutting into the profits of both nVidia and Intel at the moment, absolutely destroying their products in terms of performance and price. PR companies are busy online trying to make AMD products seem inferior. 'Nuff said.

I really wanted to love this card, really I did. And I do :)

I've been waiting years now for a good card to replace my reference r9 290, which I might say still works like new and is still relevant six years later as it compares performance-wise with the GTX 1060 or RX 580. It has continued to have excellent driver support up to this day, and I've had no issues with it since purchase. Remember people, once a year you need to disassemble your card and clean it, reapply thermal compound. Takes an hour, makes your card last for years. Well here we have the RX 5700 XT, another one of those once-in-a-few generation cards that will last you a good 5-10 years of magical gaming. As my r9 290 already was running the newest AMD beta drivers, all I did was replace the card and turn my PC on. Instant upgrade of 130ish % gpu performance, or well over twice as powerful. Been using it for days with complete stability and zero issues on the latest Windows 10 update. Might I add that there really is no need to wait for a non-reference version. Check out the benchmarks, it's 2-3 fps faster when the results are already in the hundreds. And while reviewers will claim it’s loud or runs hot, that wildly exaggerated just like everything else they do to draw attention. Inside my case I haven’t been able to hear it once, and it runs a lot cooler than most previous gen cards. Enjoy!

    Background:
When the r9 290x came out in late 2013, gamers had the unprecedented opportunity to get high-end gpu performance for a fraction of the price that nVidia was offering for the equivalent the GTX Titan. After a few driver updates, even the r9 290 ($400 at release) could trade benchmark blows with the Titan. For half the price. The Titan sold back then for $1,000. The scenario is playing out yet again with the rx 5700 line.

    Update 2021:
The year 2021 is upon us. I gamed on this card a LOT more than expected this year due to quarantine after quarantine in my workplace, getting tested for COVID, staying home. Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, you name it, it ran it on my 1440p 165hz 32" setup. I put it through more work than my previous GPU had in all of its years.

So a lot of people have been complaining about these cards overheating and being extremely loud. And so far for me, that hasn't been an issue, though, I have only been using it for 2 days. I did run into some headaches however on the driver installation. For some reason there was an issue with the software, and I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall the AMD software multiple times until it somehow worked. So far for my main game I'm only getting around 60 fps on high settings. And I was lagging whenever I moved the camera angle or my character, I would get huge fps drops. Though as I type this, there was an update today that fix that issue for me. All I can say is that the price is awesome for a card that's supposedly comparable to the 2070 super and or the base model 2080.

The only thing I can say is, I thought it would perform better?

    Its great.... when it works.
The drivers are just so bad.
Wattman keeps crashing it / hard resetting the pc.
For the price, I cant use it, I installed this on a workstation (autocad/drafting) and it just crashes randomly for no reason and resets the driver profile everytime.
The card wasnt even getting hot 50-60c (hardly even game).
Its a shame, because you can tell the card has a lot of potential , but its just too unstable..... and wattman .... jeez worst piece of software ever made and you cant even disable it (default driver package) without disabling everything else.
    Update:
Its just so bad, this card and the drivers are no where near ready for market.
Some people get lucky with this card (id say maybe 60% judging from online reviews).
But from my experience the card starts off good, and then endsup junk a week or so down the line. Like the frist day I put it in, it was great, had one crash figured w/e random crash... then a few good days, then more crashes, and now it seems I get a crash every hour or so.
I hope this thing hasnt damaged my motherboard to be honest.
I tried everything to get it to work properly (driver versions 19.7.1 to latest ) all DDU clean installed.
Just no stability..... sometimes crashes on the desktop when computer isnt even doing anything (it gets worse over time) which makes me think the actual hardware of the card is to blame just as much as the software.
Would not recommend this card, spend more money, get something from Nvidia with tried and tested drivers.

The card is amazing. Gpu is super fast in processing and of course with MSI Afterburner it becomes even more overclockable. The aesthetics are by far amazing. Was worth an investment. I am happy with my build, I have put in good efforts for a proper exhaust system so this cpu is part of my exhaust mechanisms and does its part well.
