I have not tested the overclocking functionality of the system, yet.
The one irritation that I have run into, so far, with this product is in the registration. Registration of the product requires a number only found on a sticker on the motherboard itself (specifically, on the motherboard power connector). I found that it was not easy to read once the computer had been put together in my case (although I finally managed it without too much disassembly). I would suggest that you take a picture of this sticker (or register the product) prior to installation to ease this process.
The first thing that I did when I got this system built was boot into the BIOS. I was thoroughly impressed by the features offered. It includes charting to monitor the temperature over time as well as to control the fans. It also includes a visual layout of the board with detected hardware.
I'm running Linux as the primary operating system. Most of the mainstream/user-friendly Linux distributions (as of this writing) use an older Linux kernel which will not support the wireless drivers out of the box. Aside from this, the system was very easy to set up and work out of the box. I'm still in the process of setting up all of the virtualized systems, but have not run into any hardware related problems to this point. I have even been able to get the main GPU passed through to a Windows system for gaming, though that more advanced use took some work.
I appreciate that the guard is pre-installed and another huge plus is that CPU mount came pre-installed as well which for my CPU fan was a quick and relatively easy install. This was my first time building my computer and I had so much fun.
The motherboard is as durable as motherboards get and look super slick especially once you get it hooked up and running with the built-in RGB lights.
It also came with all cables and accessories that were advertised and arrived in its original sealed and undamaged box. The price point for me at least is in the sweet spot of quality and price. You get tremendous quality at just the right price.
I do think that MSI needs to make it simpler to find an RGB controller for the RGB lights on the motherboard. It took a little bit of research to find it. Anyone interested in it just goes to google and search for MSI Dragon Center.
Finally, I thought that as far as BIOS goes this one was superb. Having an option to switch between easy and advanced made it much more pleasant diving into the BIOS.
I have one final flaw and that is when I inserted my 2 RAM sticks I was told it was best to place one stick in the second slot from the left and the other in the fourth slot or on the far right. Don't know why it's like that but it is. At least they show you a graphic that shows which one needs to be moved and which slot to move it to. It was an easy fix.
As I said this was my first time building a PC so I am by no means an expert, but given the motherboard didn't complicate any part of the build process or set up of my new PC I would recommend this one to anyone that buys a Ryzen 7.
Highly recommend

I purchased this for a new build with a 5900X and the board handles this perfectly, VRM's area a good temperature even when the chip is maxed out and the multi phases of the VRM's also seem really good because the chip stays cool enough that I don't have to worry about extended runtimes when compiling or running VM's.
It has 2 ARGB headers which is great as I can now control different elements of my case individually and the RAM support is great, I am using slightly mis matched RAM and my other motherboard couldn't use the XMP (can't remember the AMD equiv) on it and it had to be manually dialed in (all my RAM is ballistix 3000, but I have a 2 X 8 and a 2 X 16 and the timings are slightly different) however, this board seems happy to enable this and no issues at all.
I have used the gameboost function on this but find I get better speeds without, not sure why but though it pushes single core to 4.95 it impacts the multicore timings more negatively vs stock (I am getting 4.5 with game boost on 4 cores but 4.7 without).
Setting up was super easy, though make sure you install the NVMe's before your GPU (I made this mistake).
Very happy with the PCIE4 support also, always felt my 4060 was leaving some performance on the table with my last PCI3 board and does seem to run smooth, not sure if this is the CPU or just a difference between intel vs amd, but games that were hitting 95% on the GPU are now performing just as good at 80%, or this could be a result of running on PCIe3 originally.
Also, the looks are great, love the armor effect on the board itself and the LED for temp is truly amazing.
Overall, very happy with this board and I am sure it will last me a long time.
Sur différentes plate-formes, toujours sur socket AMD, je n'ai jamais connu de problèmes.
