    I have been playing Destiny 2 and sometimes communication is a must, so I was shopping around for a gaming headset and a friend recommended these to me. They are amazing. I am in love with the sound quality and the mic works perfectly. I love that I can retract it if necessary. There is definitely some sound leakage if I have the volume up high enough, but it's not really an issue for me. I can't hear anything outside of the headphones when I have these on.

    Wanted to grab a pair of headphones that wouldn’t break the bank, offers good sounds quality and fit comfortably for hours of gaming and these didn’t disappoint.

    They have a sleek look to them that definitely works for me. My previous set was a Logitech wireless set that weighed down my head and gave me neck pains. The sound quality was much better on those than this but these still surprised me.

    They are loud with a good amount of base and balance. The ear pieces are soft and don’t get sweaty. The strap is easy to adjust and like that the mic isn’t out unless you want it out. Adding the fact the ears lay flat is a plus!

    Definitely would recommend for someone that is just looking to enjoy a good set, not spend a whole lot and wants something that looks sleek and simple.

    these headphones work pretty well for me for a 60 something dollar gaming headset. the sound quality is great, especially for ambiance in games. they fit nice and comfortable but the insides where the speakers are do not have padding. this isn’t a big issue for me but it might for others. the top of the headset where it goes on the top of the head isn’t padded either but it’s not extremely annoying. they fit nice and snug, but they don’t block noise as well as they might of said in the description. it works well when there are other sounds playing in the headphones, but if you aren’t listening to anything while using them you would still be able to make out conversations and it can still be an annoyance. be careful with these because they aren’t made of the strongest plastic
    tldr: great sound quality, slightly uncomfortable, fragile

    I bought these as a replacement for my HyperX Cloud Flight that was slowly dying. The Arctis Prime headset offers good sound quality and great comfort, but the microphone isn't very loud. Not a big issue, considering how easy it is to boost it. It is somewhat small, so if you have a bigger than average head, it might be tight on you. The ear cups have great noise isolation, although they're slightly forceful. The mute button is much better than my last headphones, since they only made a beep to indicate a toggle, and I could never tell if that meant it was muted or not. This mute button noticeably sticks out when it's muted. The retractable mic is convenient, even though it's quite quiet. The volume control is easy to use and finely adjustable. You get 2 sound inputs, a standard audio jack and a Steelseries proprietary jack. For only $40 (it was a Prime deal), it's great value.

    The sound quality on this headset is superb, however, after only a month, the microphone stopped being recognized on my computer and nothing worked to fix it, from updating my drivers to adjusting the sound settings on my computer.

    Additionally, after contacting SteelSeries support about the issue, all they responded with was that I had accidentally chosen the wrong model number on my support ticket. They did not say “I have recreated the support ticket for you with the correct model number”, they did not say “Here are some support pages for your correct model number”, they did not say “let me connect with you someone who knows more about this model of headset”, all they said was that I messed up and to “have a good day” after saying that I messed up.

    I would have been happy using a desktop mic because the sound quality on this headset is so good, however the SteelSeries customer support left a bad taste in my mouth, so I returned the product and wrote this review. I will not be buying another SteelSeries product.
