Let's face it, you don't need this to cool your pc. LTT proved objectively that air cooling is just as good if not better than AIO water cooling at keeping temps down. Air cooling is cheaper, too, with the top performing options being in the $50-60 range. Air is more reliable due to having fewer moving parts and not relying on electricity's worst enemy... H2O...
You're here for the RGBs and you're here for the sleek and clean looks. And for those, you've come to the right place. Sure it's got 10+ wires coming out of it that need to be managed, but those LEDs are LIT, bro! The leds are bright and vibrant and the CM software, though just as clunky as every other ARGB solution out there, is competent enough to achieve some great lighting effects. The included controller will allow you to use software to control 4 channels of ARGB stuff via software, even if your motherboard does not have any RGB headers or if you do have RGB headers on your motherboard, it comes with all the necessary wiring to connect it. Mine is over 5 years old and only has two fan headers... splitters are your best friend in this situation. Got more than 4 things to light? Daisy chain them sons o' guns. This thang runs on SATA power (lightning and thunder noises)!
In all seriousness, this is actually a very effective cooler, keeping my ancient core i5 below 60deg even under continuous load. Your results may vary, but like I said, if you want results, stick to air. This thing fills that 360mm space with glorious RGB goodness and keeps you cool and relatively quiet. Seriously pleased with the look and more than satisfied by the performance.
I found a few videos online to help with the RGB install that helped quite a bit. I like the magnet controller, just wish the mag was a bit more powerful. It looks great once all set up and runs quiet even right next to me on my desk. May swap out the fans for new ones as the included ones do not light up the case very much as others have noted. They are rubberized at the four points which is nice though. The pump "cap" can come off and you can align it with your build once installed or customize your own.
My only critiques would be to lengthen the hose a little bit more or make them more flexible. Thin the radiator down a tiny bit as it is a monster. Perhaps some brighter color fans or a couple other pump "caps" to come with it. Overall though it performs great for cooling my R5 3600X.
Manual is really really bad, so i would suggest to throw it and watch some YT vids on how to install, ,my problem with this AIO is the tubes is not that flexible, it took me more than 1 hour to be able to bend the tubes and stretch them over the CPU and lock the screws, im talking about AMD x570 mainboard, i have a huge case, so i thought i would put the rad at the middle of the top, i was terribly wrong, i had to move the rad to far left to be able to install it properly without having too much stretching on the tubes.
however, after having it installed, it keeps my CPU (Ryzen 3700x) very cool, it doesnt reach more than 62 degrees in anything, for stress testing it reaches 72 max while fans are working 50%-60%.
so other people said that the fans that come with this cooler is loud, i didnt test them out as i have my own RGB fans and they are not loud and keeps my case and cpu cool.
regarding RGB, its not that bright, its alright but looks awesome.
finally, the cooler sometimes have some low grinding noise, i read online about this issue and it seems common, some people RMA'd it and got a replacement but the noise didnt go away, so its not something to worry about as long as the cooler doesnt leak.
bottom line, this is one of the best AIO coolers out there.
