    I bought this for one reason, so I could have a scale in the bedroom which is carpeted. I purchased it based on other reviews that said the carpet feet worked well for them. They did not work for me at all, registering 20 or more pounds below my actual weight. I finally put a square of ceramic tile on the carpet below the scale. That seems to work pretty well. Otherwise, it's functional but you can find many less expensive options (with no carpet feet.)
