    Product Description

Equipped with the world's first dual phase push-pull driver system, the ATH-CKR10 in-ear headphones deliver high-resolution audio that's true to the original sound. The unique push-pull system incorporates two facing 13 mm drivers that generate phase-aligned audio signals that are mixed to compensate for each driver's inefficiencies, while providing an equal and tailored response without artificial coloration. By reducing intermodulation distortion, the push-pull drivers deliver extended frequency response for life-like sound. The ATH-CKR10 also features metal-coated titanium housings for a rigidity that greatly reduces unwanted vibration. A stainless steel acoustic resister improves high-frequency response, while a bass acoustic resister provides accurate low-frequency response. Four sizes of interchangeable ear tips are included for a customized, secure fit and improved sound isolation.

Alright, these are the best IEMs I have heard. They sound incredible. It really brings out the littlest of details. Guitars, cymbals, voices, and drums sound incredibly clean on these. I cannot believe ATH discontinued this line. The guitars sound so clean and every little detail is revealed.

These are bright IEMs. The bass is verry tight and punchy, also incredibly clean. The frequency response is fairly neutral. Soundstage is small but this is preference to whether you like tight and clean sounds or not. Channel separation is fantastic as well. These headphones actually convinced that an instrument was comming from somewhere in real life. I was looking around like an idiot lol. I did a head to head comparison with the sennheiser hd600 and these sounded so much cleaner and accurate. The only faults I find in this IEM is the lack of disconnectable cable and the static discharge. Do not wear floofy clothes or shuffle on carpet with these. Although not limited to just these pair of IEMs, just be prepared to unplug and take them out when you start to hear crackling sounds and touch a metal surface.

Songs that sound amazing on these:

    - Hotel California (Live): the guitar just sounds so phenomenal and accurate. Every nuance is brought out and shown.
    - Bullet (Chelsea Lankes): the bass is incredibly punchy and tight (accurate). You can hear the coarseness of her voice and the airiness of it.
    - UAC Report File; Shto36u3 (DOOM OST, Mick Gordon): the bass and everything about it sounds so clean and accurate. It has lots of bite because of the incredible finesse these drivers have.
    - Palace (Unlike Pluto): just listen to the part where it sounds like he is playing the harp backwards. It is incredible. It is airy, hits fast, super clean, detailed, and tight. The response is so fast and accurate. The bass is not overwhelming the other instruments unlike how it does with other headphones I have tried. The instrument separation is fantastic.

I bought these off of Amazon, but you can find them sometimes ~$50 cheaper on EBay. They are the best heaphones hands down at this price range. And definitely can compete with ~$400-600 headphones. I have built $1000~ sound systems and this takes the cake for accuracy and clearness.

Excellent sound quality, the dual phase push-pull drivers is able to reproduce the bass accurately.
The size of the earbug is quite large, but surprisingly, they are very comfortable in my ears.
I can hear a lot more details in all high/mid/low ranges when compare to normal consumer earbug like apple earpod.

I use a Fiio E10k DAC Amp to drive it, it sound slight better with the amplifier, but the differences is hard to tell when compare with connecting to my iphone directly.

I wish I could give it a 5-stars, but I deducted one because the cable is non-removable and can result of some microphonics even when you move your head slightly. This is not a big issue to me as I use it solely in the office, but I do not recommend to anyone to use it on the go.

When I received the product in April, 2016, I noticed a slight difference in sound volume between the two ear pieces. Then I did some research online and I found that this might be quite common among new ear phones. Unfortunately, as time went by, I noticed that the difference was amplified (i.e. the right ear piece is significantly louder than the left ear piece) but I had missed the deadline of returning date. I sent an email on Jun 25 to ask for warranty but still got no reply after waiting for a couple of weeks. I have been using the products of Audio-Technica for several years and this is the first time that I find the service is so upsetting as well as annoying. Therefore, please take your "one star" and you do not have to feel grateful to me.

Sound quality is fantastic. The ear pieces do a very good job of sealing out ambient noises and keeping music in your ear where it belongs. With a total of four ear piece sizes it should be easy to find one that fits correctly. I've been using them with a Samsung Galaxy S6 playing FLAC files on Shuttle+ and have been able to tell a noticeable difference in sound quality versus streaming services such as Pandora. They lose two stars because of the horrible amount of microphonics produced from the cable itself. Just by sitting at my desk and turning my head from side to side to look at a second monitor I can hear the cable rubbing on my shirt through the ear pieces. You could overcome this by cranking up the volume, but when the ear pieces do such a good job of sealing out noise and I work in a pretty quiet office to begin with having the volume so high is pointless. I can understand Audio-Technica's focus on investing the money where it counts for sound reproduction, but I would much rather pay $20 more to get a cable that doesn't make so much noise. If $20 Apple headphones have managed to figure it out I don't understand how hard it can be. I'll be giving them a week and if it drives me up the wall enough I'll be returning them for some Sennheisers.

Edit: Couldn't even make it 2 hours sitting at my desk. Even just by breathing they make noise. For headphones designed for high quality audio it is unfortunate the experience is ruined by such a simple thing to fix.

I've been an audio engineer for the last 5 years and I can honestly say these are the clearest, most comfortable and accurate in ear headphones I've used. I'm a huge fan of Audio Technica microphones and earphones. I also own the M50x, and have used a friends pair of the M70x from a friend. I also own the discontinued audio technical Solid Bass headphones, which are much cheaper. The frequency range on these sound just as ridiculous as it looks on paper. The bass response is better than my KRK 10" subwoofer and the highs are on par with a pair of Yamaha monitors. I honesty can't imagine a time I've heard an audio being represented more clearly than these. These are definitely end of the line headphones, The wire is a little flimsy, and looks cheaper than most headphones, but if clarity and a flat, accurate frequency response is what you're looking for in a pair of headphones, look no further!! You have found the headphones for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best for EDM and Trance
Reviewed in Canada on July 19, 2016
These are by far the best bang for your buck IEM. After doing some research these showed up as good contenders for the type of music I listen too (EDM, Trance, and Vocal Trance). Vocals may sound a bit high pitch at first, but after a bit of usage they should sound better after, and in terms of bass these are the best they give enough of a punch to make you feel like you have a subwoofer in your ear.

IF you plan on picking these up I HIGHLY recommend getting them fulfilled by amazon and NOT by the other resellers as it seems they are always marked very high (amazon price around 200, but other resellers are like 300-600)

the ear phone is fine but I am still waiting for answers of my questions. such as why the packaging film was removed before I got it, where is the guarantee paper. Etc.
The earphone has a weird structure, I spent time in fitting it, and before that my ears felt painful if I used it for more than 20 minutes.
