The new twist lock is easy to use for the tank so that’s pretty nice.
Maybe with a few adjustments they could make it work properly.
For some reason I cannot fathom, they opted for a locking tank mechanism rather than a tried-and-true "bottle cap" screw-in tank. Not unexpectedly, it leaks.
The pressure tank, pump, and trigger mechanism all also leak, and are not resistant to pressure.
Basically, all four absolutely essential pieces of this water gun are flawed.
The saddest part is that with a just a bit more effort put into water- and pressure-sealing, this would be just as good as a real XP100.
One plus is that it is easy to disassemble (aside from the pump), and sealing things up yourself is relatively straightforward.
