    My 7 year old son wants to be a NASA scientist and this year he wanted a telescope. This one was just what he wanted. I know, we looked. We put it together after he opened it the day after Christmas. I was concerned. It came with 2 high level lenses. The level 1 lense was no where to be found. I was frustrated and on a whim emailed the company. I noticed a phone number and thought, what the heck. I was so surprised! A real person answered the phone. She was so helpful, and got a level 1 lense in the mail right away. She also sent me tracking and responded to my email. What a pleasure! I didn’t have to spend a million hours returning or tracking down missing parts. My son is happily planning his trips to Mars and looking at the stars through this telescope. I am very pleased!

    It’s a little small but this is great for kids. Back story…My daughter was born with Glaucoma in one eye and impaired vision in the other. So she can only see things really close even with glasses. Therefore, she has never seen stars, when she looks at the night sky, she only sees empty black. She is 7 now and she cried when she finally got to see stars. This helped me bring the night sky and the moon closer to her, so she could see what most people see. 10/10 would recommend for anyone, but if your child has vision problems get this and show them the beautiful night sky.
