I was looking for an accurate bathroom scale, the other features don't matter to me. I have 2 other bathroom scales and both give inaccurate readings. They both read out to 1/10th of a pound but can be off by 2 pounds or more. For example, if you step differently on them, they give you a different weight. Or I can take off my shoes and the weight doesn't change.
This scale has none of those problems. I can purposely stand in a slightly different location or put more weight on my toes or heels and it reads the same. If I take off my shoes and re-weigh myself, it shows the small difference.
It's fast, easy to use, accurate, easy to read, and a charge lasts a long time.
I haven't used all the other features because
a) I don't like the lack of privacy. They share your data
b) I think most of the fat data is bogus from scales like this.

So, I've had this for just about 5 months now and it's working great! The scale itself displays your weight in RED LED's, so you really can use this without the app, if you just want to see your weight, but with the App, a whole new world opens up!

The Renpho iPhone app I use, which is a free download, connects to the scale via Bluetooth and collects and displays many (13) stats on your body, weight and etc. (see amazon product notes) and it integrates well into the Apple Health app, though I never use it, the Renpho App is all I need. Using the Renpho app, it stores stats and a history, which is awesome to look over time my weight changes and 13 different stats! Plus you can open up each stat to view health indicators and a range of good to bad and where you fit in.

Features I love about this product include;
1) NO BATTERIES (I've stopped using AA and all other batteries) - USB charge the internal battery, you just connect it to any USB device/charger to charge it , which my battery has last for 5 months,
2) small, thin, lite weight,
3) being able to keep a history of my weight and other stats in the smartphone app, with history and health indicators and set goals!!!!

CALIBRATE YOUR RENPHO SCALE (no tools needed) - One thing I didn't see in the manual was how do you calibrate this scale!? You Calibrate the scale when you first use it and it it's been moved. Here's how;
1) Place the scale where you plan to use it, on a flat solid surface, bathroom floor, wherever, not on carpet,
2) With your foot, step right in the middle of the scale with a good amount of force until you see a weight displayed on the scales RED LED display,
3) immediately lift your foot off the scale,
4) in the RED LED display the letters "CAL" will be displayed as it's calibrating itself (a few seconds),
5) next you'll see the numbers "00" in the RED LED display,
6) then the display goes off. IT'S READY!

I like using this scale because it is very accurate. The digital display is easy to read while standing upright. I also appreciate that it easily connects to Apple Health on my iPhone, which provides information about my body fat index and various other metrics.

One feature I love is that it gives me information about my bone density and muscle mass. It also provides data on how my body age compares to my actual age based on my weight and bone density. This helps me to see whether I am aging appropriately or if I need to make some changes to my weight, bone density, and muscle strength.

After surviving three cancers, I was not surprised to find out that I was several years older than my actual age. My goal is to do my best every day, and this scale is helping me to achieve that. I highly recommend this scale to anyone looking to track their weight, bone density, and muscle mass accurately.

So far the scale has been easy to use and syncs well with the app. Only complaint is I wish it was made out of something other then tempered glass or have a protective edge bumper since we have children I am concern it being bumped or dropped. Great scale, decent price as well for a device that recharges. Comes with a USB A to USB micro C cable but no wall charger, so you'll have to either charge it using a PC (slow as piss) or go and buy a wall charger adapter... only real gripe.

The app is pretty easy to setup as well, only issue is, if you want 100% accurate readings you'll have to buy a seamstress measuring tape and have someone measure your entire body (neck, biceps, hips...etc) to plug in to your account on the app... otherwise you can basically just put in your age and height and go with whatever it gives you... which is still pretty close to accurate. It nailed my weight perfectly and gave me a pretty eye opening BMI / Body Fat percentage reading which is precisely where I figured it would be (out of shape) LOL... but I'm working on it.

You can add additional users to the app so it doesn't interfere with your own personal readings and you can add a "Baby" user to weigh your baby while you hold it... fairly thoughtful feature for those interested. You really can't go wrong with this purchase.

You have to charge it for about 2 to 3 hours out of the box and then press the button on the bottom after the phone app is installed. Place it on a flat surface and step on it to get your phone's blue tooth to connect and that's basically it... easy.

Best Scale - Can't Lose the Weight - But Good Data and Progress Measured Is a Huge Help!

Pros:
- Simple to use (and connect)
- Accurate (for weight - I can't actually 'test' the others, but they do show consistent values)
- Reliable quality (I think I'm more at fault for my other one kicking it)
- Great API integration with other services (ie, Samsung Health, Google Fit, etc)
- A degree of onboard memory, and multi-person profiles! (Profiles handled in App, but say someone else uses it - it will prompt you on who to assign the weight values to).

If you want a good companion for your weight loss, look no further. And, frankly, it kind of helps, too. There's something sort of game-like about the numbers on screen, along with trends, history, and full notes if you want to log something. But for my bad habits of binging junk food from time to time, it's seen me through losing 100lbs, so it's definitely a helpful thing to have.

I've had a prior iteration of the Renpho for eons now, and it just works. It's accurate (at least for weight, being the only thing I can really 'test') and even improves the one prior deficiency of the other - it includes its own rechargeable battery!

Really, the whole thing can be summarized like Apple's motto: 'it just works'
Connection is easy, operation is idiot simple, and if you opt for the rechargeable version, you can even just use a basic USB battery bank! That'll keep it going for years - it already has an impressive standby time.

Obviously, you gotta put in the work to get the results, but if you want to do it scientifically and effectively, a smart scale like this will be a powerful ally. Also great to let you know if you're lapsing! You can also take some real satisfaction - if that's your motive as it was mine - in seeing how far you've come. It's surprisingly good motivation!

Otherwise, my one tip:
It's work, if you want to lose weight, it's work. There is no miracle and no quickfix. BUT you can do it - it's a battle, but it's a cumulative one. Even if you lose just a bit a day, it's going to show before long. My strong suggestion, if you find yourself struggling with the exercise component: block out the time. Whatever you do, it's your thing you gotta do - and once you're at it, that's 90% of the struggle dealt with. I get on every day, first thing I do. If I miss, I get on when I can. Something that can help is serialized media - find a show you die for, and promise yourself at least one episode a day. No watching it doing anything else.

Worked for me, might work for you. I hope it helps - but if nothing else, I can say having a good log of it to understand where I was and what I had to do is a very powerful ally - and that's one you can simply buy, for less than $40ish dollars!

You won't regret it! Unless... you really let loose, but hey, at least you'll have something nagging you!

If you're like me, and you want to lose some pounds - just keep at it. You'll get there - it's a war, not a battle, you don't lose because you messed up once. Good luck!

Elegí esta báscula por ser recargable (para así evitar gastar en pilas). El uso de la báscula es muy sencillo, así como su App (incluso han habido actualizaciones recientes).
Los cálculos que realiza son aproximados (lo comprendo), sin embargo funciona excelente como referencia para aquellos que quieren dar seguimiento a su salud. No es lo mismo a un InBody que se usa en los gimnasios o alguna clínica de nutricion, pero funciona bastante bien!
