Awesome wetpack, the extra wet section, and waterproof pouch inside are invaluable. I tried a bunch of different options, and this one is by far and away the best option out there. I took it on a trip to Belize recently, and even the guides were envious of this thing! Got lots of comments. I was able to bring my gear with me on a caving trip where we had to swim, and everyone else had to leave theirs at the entrance. Also note that even tho this is not submersible, it does float brilliantly on the water as it traps air inside. So if you do need to swim with it, just take it off and push it along with you, or even tie it to yourself with some rope. I also highly recommend the 35L size over the 25L, there is almost no difference in weight, so even if you don't need the extra space, it doesn't really cost you anything to carry it. Also as the pack is so flexible it won't take up any extra space either, unless you put more than 25L of stuff in it :) Personally I also found the 25L was a bit too small, so there really is no reason to limit yourself with the smaller pack.

This is an amazing backpack, if you need a waterproof backpack, look no further, this is it!

This backpack is thoughtfully designed and well made.

PROS:
+ I took it swimming, and it is indeed waterproof.
+ It is constructed very well, with no loose threads or leaks. And every strap, clip, and zipper works well. It's a pleasure to handle.

It has essentially three compartments: The main bag, a removable yellow pouch inside so wet and dry stuff can be separated, and a smaller transparent pouch meant for cell phone, keys, etc.

I have the 35L version of this bag, and my other 33L backpack easily fits inside. That's possible because backpack volume includes the volume of the mesh pockets. In other words, the main compartment is quite voluminous for a 35L bag.

CONS:
- Update Nov 2020: After five years of occasional light use, the inner pocket tore from the backside.
- It comes without any instructions whatsoever. A QR code is included, but it leads to a broken web link. I can't figure out what the loops at the end of some straps are for, and I wish they had included care instructions.
- The mesh pockets on the side are so deep that it is impossible to grab a water bottle while hiking.
- It only comes in black, which for someone who lives in the tropics or goes caving is a bad color choice.
- Little back support, more like a soft bag, so the 35L version is not ideal for long hikes.

Overall, I consider this a very capable and high-quality backpack. It's ideal for very wet activities (e.g. kayaking), not so much for mostly dry hikes with the occasional immersion, which would benefit from an easy-access compartment. It drives my crazy that I can never get to anything fast.

Suggestions for improvements:
* A quick-access outside pocket
* Other color choices than black
* Make one of the side mesh pockets short, so a water bottle can be grabbed from it without taking the backpack off.
* A side strap to secure longer items, such as a tripod would be worth considering.

I bought this for my nephew during the period when my Aquapac 25L Wet & Dry Backpack (a gift I received in 2013) was serving me well. Sadly, the latter's interior pocket soon started to tear apart and tape peeled off the seams; by then, I was in St Petersburg where winter temperatures were a relatively warm -12°C. Conversely, the exterior of my Aquapac seems unaffected and the roll-seal deterred two pickpockets from targeting me in St Petersburg. Instead, one of them surreptitiously unzipped my friend's conventional backpack from behind and had a hand in it, feeling for valuables, when I caught him in the act and chased him away. Having had such a bad experience with my Aquapac 25L, I'm now waiting for my nephew's Aquapac 35L to give the same problems. I sent photos of my Aquapac 25L to info@aquapac.net and John Colenutt (Sales Administrator - Aquapac International Ltd) promptly replied on 25 Jul 2014 to say he would replace my Aquapac 25L. I'm still waiting for my replacement Aquapac 25L to arrive and my subsequent e-mails to John have gone unanswered. So much for the 5-year Warranty.
[Feb 2016 UPDATE: My nephew's 35L Wet & Dry Backpack has been to the Atacama Desert, Ecuador's Cloud Forest, the Galapagos Islands and Japan. It continues to perform well and has been trouble-free. Aquapac's John Colenut eventually replaced my defective 25L Wet & Dry Backpack with the new model which has also performed admirably. Would I now recommend Aquapac to friends who need a waterproof backback? Yes.]

Definitely waterproof, comfortable to carry and lots of space in the side netting. My only criticism is that there is no little zipper compartment inside for easy storage/access to keys etc. That said it's a minor point and given the selling point is being waterproof not worth losing a star over. Top quality and feels like it will last a long time. Definitely recommended. Oh, also this is the first roll-top bag I have had and while I didn't like it at first it is practical, a far better waterproofing system than taped seam zips and you get used to it really quickly. The reinforced carry handle on the back was an unexpected plus too. Top quality kit.

Also ein echter daypack.

I like the fact that it’s roomy and waterproof. Really dislike the lower straps (the ones over the waist/hips) as they don’t do up in the middle as with most rucksacks, but at the side, meaning they are fiddly to do up once you have the rucksack in place. Also they don’t have a ventilated back panel so I imagine it will get hot on long walks. But will use it when rain is anticipated to keep my kit dry.
