Der Router wurde schnell und sicher verpackt geliefert.
Er ist sehr handlich und wird zusammen mit einem Akku, Ladekabel und zwei SIM-Adaptern geliefert. Ebenfalls sind eine Kurzanleitung (Englisch) und eine ausführlichere in Deutsch beigefügt.
Der Router ist gut verarbeitet und hat auf der Front neben dem Ein-/Ausschalter ein Farbdisplay.
Auf der Oberseite befindet sich der Menüschalter.
Nun zum Einrichten und dem Betrieb. Nach dem Öffnen des Rückendeckels kann eine bis 32 GB fassende MicroSD sowie die SIM-Karte eingelegt werden. Hier ist bei einer Nano-SIM das beigefügte Adapter erforderlich. Danach den Akku einlegen und den Deckel schließen (Achtung - bitte die im Inneren angebrachte SSiD sowie das Passwort notieren!) Vor dem Einschalten unbedingt die tpMiFi App herunterladen und installieren.
Den Router einschalten und am Handy, Laptop usw. das WLAN einschalten. Die SSiD erscheint und das Passwort (siehe oben) eingeben, das WLAN steht. Zum Einrichten der Internetverbindung bitte die tpMiFi App nutzen. Hier wird zunächst die Pin der SIM-KARTE erfragt und kann direkt eingegeben werden (sie muss wie viele Rezensenten schreiben nicht vorher gelöscht werden - um den Komfort zu erhöhen habe ich die Pinfunktion einfach in der App ausgeschaltet). Die Verbindung steht stabil. Das Display zeigt ua. den Datenverbrauch an (muss in den Einstellungen der App eingegeben werden), ebenfalls die Stärke der Internetverbindung.
Fazit: der Router ist zügig eingerichtet und funktioniert einwandfrei.

I held off writing a review until I had tried this overseas. I have used this in Poland, Ireland and the UK. You use your own SIM. My data contract with Three has 20GB including roaming. I successfully ran training with video on while sharing my screen for both Powerpoint and MS Access database, and there were no complaints from participants who were in Eswatini. I would highly recommend. I particularly like the display which switches off automatically to save power, and shows connection speed, network provider, signal type, % battery remaining and other things I don't yet understand. Good battery life too, though easy to replace. This was a replacement for my Huawei mobile wifi which didn't work with 4G signals.

Mam modem ZTE mf971r, który już ma słabą baterię i potrzebowałem czegoś lepszego. Zamówiłem tego tp-linka i wielce się rozczarowałem. Robiłem testy z tą samą kartą sim, na tym samym komputerze i w przeciągu godziny. Niestety na ZTE średnia prędkość to 50Mbps, a na TP-Link 30Mbps. Spodziewałem się czegoś lepszego.
Na duży plus w Tp-link trzeba dodać szybkość uruchamiania, czytelny wyświetlacz na którym jest dużo potrzebnych informacji np. stan baterii. Gdyby tylko prędkość była chociaż taka sama jak w ZTE to bez wahania bym zostawił, ale niestety.
Jeśli komuś nie zależy na szybkości to polecam.
