    The oneplus3 is an excellent phone if you can find it within the $100 range for a used or renewed OnePlus 3 for multiple reasons 1. The ram it is 6gb of ram verse against new phones even til this very day is only 4gb like the Samsung Galaxy S7, s8 or LG 5, LG 6 and LG G7. 2. Always has the latest Android while Samsung Galaxy updates are slow . 3 I love the metal body feel and is an improvement compared to new phones who use glass and steel which cracks easily.

    Why waste your time and buy phones that are locked through US Carriers.
    Why waste money and buy phone just for the brand name when there is another that can deliver the same performance, reliability and at times even better. Why waste time and money buying a phone full of bloatware from the carriers. I bought this one and later upgraded to the older brother OnePlus 6. The OnePlus line is solid, great performance, that Dual sim is great for international travelers and even if you refuse to be tied to one provider.
    I would recommend this phone again and again.

    bought this phone as a secondary phone, I actually hate android, but didn't want to have two phones on the same systems, I thought it would be good to try something new. This phone is one of the only android phones I would ever consider since it runs stock android, bootloader is unlocked, and phone quality is great (unlike the crap Samsung and the rest of the companies build). Got this phone as an open boxed item, saved nearly $80 from the original price, but the phone was in MINT BRAND NEW condition. What a steal of a deal.

    As usual, android has random bugs causing for glitches (which I experienced in the first 2 days), but there's work arounds...

    This review is written in 2019, and I will base it on the age of this phone compared to other phones you can buy used around 150 or below.
    First, the bad. It has a poorly designed USB C port. I think USB C was just coming out at this time and I expect that from first gen stuff, but I also had another phone from that time which was a high end phone of the time and it did USB C port better. Basically, the connector isnt snug. Its not a deal breaker though.
    The fingerprint scanner is slow but the face recognition for unlocking the phone is solid. Pocket mode is annoying but still practical so I keep it on. But that is more an android issue I assume?
    The location of the volume button in relation to the power button (them being on opposite sides and similar levels of the phone) means that I accidently take screenshots often lol

    The sound system is fine. Servicable. The screen is servicable. I am not a tech snob so I like LCD just fine even compared to AMOLED (Is that the name of the new fancy screens people rave about?)

    The good is that despite its age, for medium level users, the systems performance is good. It has a nice button feature on the side for quickly turning your phone to silent mode, and all other buttons are functional.

    I did a lot of research to determine the best bang for my buck and in all honesty, I would love to have kept using my Zenfone 3 Deluxe, but it broke and at the time of looking for a new phone, this Oneplus 3 was the best thing and I dont regret the purchase.
    Performance, design, function, its all there and 64GB of memory and the RAM inside still does well today.

    I needed the international version for compatibility, because I'm from Costa Rica. Now that the phone is not so overpriced here in amazon, it was a great option for me to buy it here.

    The dash charge system is ridiculously fast, the phone processing capacity is great (I'm a mobile gamer), the 6GB RAM is a wonderful feature. The screen is really nice, and both front and rear camera perform greatly. Oxygen OS is efficient, but not very customizable, principally in terms of the visual aspects. What I like is that -in comparison to Samsung's android version- it doesn't have all that bloatware, so the 64GB of disk space are actually for your stuff and not for a bunch of useless apps you didn't ask for. All the problems I had read there were with this phone (RAM management, battery use, battery temperature, etc.), seem to have been solved with the different OS updates.

    Simply great.

    I find this phone to be a great deal for the money. I can easily see a difference in speed and smoothness between this phone and my old SNG3. I do not like the fact that the battery is not interchangeable, and that it does not take memory cards, but for the money, I am OK to back up my photos and other files every few months. Also, not sure why, but I am only getting H signal from my carrier A T T.
    This phone is slim, fingerprint reader makes it easy and fast to unlock, on screen symbols trigger applications such as flash light, camera and music, without having to unlock the phone. Back and application buttons to the right and left of home button/fingerprint reader, are interchangeable form the phone settings menu.

    I ordered my OnePlus 3 from the actual OnePlus website. I received my phone in June of 2016 and I absolutely love this phone. I have had 36 incremental updates and have been through 3 operating systems. I'm currently on the Oreo beta which is one of the very few phones in the world that have Oreo running. I recommend this phone to everyone not just enthusiasts. This phone is a great alternative to the Galaxy line and I recently purchased my fiance the same phone and she loves it too. My phone is unlocked, rooted and I have a custom recovery installed because I enjoy installing new operating systems trying out different ROMs and finally thank goodness Xposed Framework is now available for nougat however now that I'm on Oreo it does not work now. Oh well the phone is still great and I very much enjoy having it and I'm still excited after nearly a year-and-a-half to have this phone and to see new features coming to it through operating system updates. You will not be disappointed with this phone if you're coming from a Galaxy you're going to love it.

    This phone was great! However the phone crashed in just 2 months of purchase. I contacted OnePlus tech support and they said the hardware malfunctioned!! I was shocked because it was random, and I am VERY careful with my belongings. The cost to repair the phone was stated to be approx, $283.00 EUR. (which is basically $400 CAD. currency) waste of money. I was really disappointed that my phone crashed and Amazon is allowing NGPS to sell defective products. If you're looking to purchase a new phone, just buy it from the actual website to get the warranty, because with electronic devices you just never know what can happen.
