Directions

Keep it Clean: Regularly clean your band and wrist—especially after working out or sweating. Rinse the band with water or wipe it with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Do NOT use hand soap, body soap, dish soap, hand sanitizers, cleaning wipes or household cleaners which could get trapped beneath the band and irritate skin. Always dry the band well before putting it back on. Keep it Dry: While Fitbit devices are water resistant*, it’s not good for your skin to wear a wet band for long periods of time. If your elastomer band gets wet—like after sweating or showering—rinse and dry it thoroughly before putting it back on your wrist. Be sure your skin is dry before you put your band back on. Don’t Wear It Too Tight: Make sure your band isn’t too tight. Wear the band loosely enough that it can move back and forth on your wrist. If you use Fitbit products with Purepulse Heart Rate tracking, for better heart rate readings during exercise, we suggest wearing the band so it’s secure, but not too tight, and wearing the band higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). Lower the band on your wrist and loosen it after exercise. Give Your Wrist a Rest: Prolonged rubbing and pressure may irritate the skin, so give your wrist a break by removing the band for an hour after extended wear. LOVE MY FITBIT BLAZE!

LOVE MY FITBIT BLAZE!
I'm absolutely in love with my blaze! I purchased my Fitbit about a month ago, and wanted to give myself some time to see how I would like it before writing a review. I did lots of research comparing the blaze with the other fitbits and the Apple Watch, and I finally decided to go with the blaze. I am so very happy that I did. It is super easy to keep track of your workouts! I love the touch screen and have gotten many complements (a few thinking that it was an Apple Watch) I've read a few reviews about the pink watch band changing colors or turning dark from rubbing against certain materials, and I will say that I have had this happen, but it was super easy to wash off with warm soapy water...definitely not an issue. I would definitely recommend this Fitbit to anyone who is looking! I also wanted to add that the battery life lasts about 3-4 days for me, that's with all of the features turned on (I.e. heart rate, quick view, text notifications and phone calls)

I just got my fitbit blaze a few days ago and I LOVE it. I am slightly disappointed that many of the features are are supposed to be available are not due to the fact I have a windows phone. The two main ones that aren't available are the call/text notifications and the GPS tracking. I also really love the pink and gold band and the new clock face that is available. I mainly got this as a fitness tracker the GPS would be great for runs and the text/call notifications are just an added bonus. Price wise I feel it is a bit over priced considering the Microsoft band2 is a smart watch that can do all the things the blaze can and more for a lower price. In addition all the functions are available on all platforms with the MS Band2. With the MS band 3 being canceled my concern was the support for the band will not be around much longer this is why I went with the fitbit blaze.

So far so good. I had a cheaper model fitbit a couple years ago. But I wanted one with more features. This one is nice. I love the competitions. You don't really get those with other brands. This now also has access to personal trainers which is really cool. The sleep tracking feature now seems greatly improved from a few years ago. It's nice to see fitbit works to make a better user experience as time goes on.
Update: battery life is not as good as expected from the reviews I read previously. Battery only lasts about 3 days before needing a charge.
Also, you can track either your exercise or your steps. For instance, your steps on the treadmill won't count towards your step count for the day. At least it doesn't seem to from what I see so far. I'll repost if I figure this out or please leave a comment.

I would've given a 5-star review but the product doesn't come with any instructions. I had to look up how to set up the product online and I have to continue to look the product up to find out different features and how to use those features. There were no instructions on how to remove the face of the watch from the band - I didn't even know it was removable until it popped out. There were no instructions on how to charge the face either. I figured it out from trial and error. However, regarding the product itself, it's fantastic! I love that it keeps track of walking steps, climbing steps, miles, calories burned, alarms to remind me to eat, exercise routines, shows me my heart rate and so much more! I am a pre-diabetic and with that comes some out of the ordinary instructions to stay healthy and not cross over to full diabetes. I can log my food intake and the nutritional value as well. You do have to download the app on your cell phone and some of the features do require you to log them on the app on your phone and not the watch.

Worked okay, never quite lasted as long as they claimed with the battery but never was bad enough to return it. Then, as if it was programmed into it, after 1 year, started glitching out when I plugged it in. Now it dies within a day. I always kept it dry so I don't understand why it isn't built to last a little longer. For such an expensive item I am really dissapointed in the quality.

I've had a Fitbit blaze for the past 5 months and decided to purchase the gold edition slim pink Fitbit blaze a few days ago as an early birthday gift to myself. It really didn't need a new one but the slim band is so comfortable, stylish, and totally worth it! I love all the features but my favorite are the sleep monitoring and challenges. This has been a great tool during my weight loss journey. I wear my Fitbit daily and it has been one of my best investments this year. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to track calories burned, steps, sleep, resting heart rate, and have a fun competition.
