Love my Charge 2!! Have had it since early July, and the only time it comes off is when I shower. I am a 63yr old female, usually fit and clean eating as close as I can. I had ACL reconstruction surgery in January as well as some dental issues which made me not be able to eat my normal lower carb, higher protein diet. SO, I gained some weight...15 lbs to be exact on my 5'2" small frame!! YIKES!! I had given my daughter and her hubby each one of these for Christmas, so decided to get one for me when I was cleared by my surgeon to start exercising and riding my horse again. My Fitbit, became my "accountability" partner. I have a home gym, hate real gyms, and have since age 18 been exercising and eating clean, so it was exciting to be able to get moving again. However, I am so surprised how much the Fitbit actually helped me stay on track and even encouraged me to do more! I only drink water anyway, but "tracking it", made me makes me sure I get even more in! I mean you can lie on the app when logging things in, but I'm not that way. I love the way the app displays my sleep stages, and it's also made me actually get my 7-8 hrs of sleep in, which had gotten to about 6, despite knowing how important sleep is! I KNOW these things are not totally accurate and don't care about that so much. For me it has worked to help keep me moving ALL the time I can. A hilarious (to me) side note is that when I ride my horse, I'm assuming because of the motion of my horse's stride, when working in the arena or on a trail, it counts all that as steps! The 1st time I rode with it on, I was on a trail ride with a friend, and noticed after about 3 hrs into it, I had over 20,000 steps!! I had done 4 miles interval walking before riding but that was not near 20k steps!!. Since I ride most every day after exercise and yoga, I get tons of "badges" from Fitbit for things I'm not actually achieving...just makes me smile anyway. On a serious note, the size of band is important! I got a large, since my wrist was a 6.5. Well they DO stretch just a little, enough that mine can move and the sensors may not be able to track, especially at night. I'm ordering a small, as I am on the tightest hole there is. I should have gone with a small, so that's my bad. The times I have called Fitbit they are extremely friendly and helpful. I love the size of the Charge 2's bigger display. I wear contacts, and ordered an HR Alta at the same time to see which I liked better. It is sleek and beautiful, but I couldn't see it at all. So the Charge 2 is perfect for me. Also DO NOT be afraid to put a screen protector on it, even with what seemed to me like complicated and impossible directions, using soapy water, etc, etc. I ordered a pack immediately off here and was so anxious about screwing up, but took a deep breath and just did it. Just used water, not soap, to help position the little thing, and had no bubbles, or any problems. And I always get my phone carrier to put screens on as I never trust myself to get it OCD in position and clear. So all in all, I LOVE my Charge. It does what I need, tells the time, my heart rate, floors (we live in the foothills so on my treks with the dogs I get lots of "floors", as it counts a hill as a floor..pretty cool I thought), tracks your sleep, and I'm sure does much more. Oh I have never turned on text or call notifications, but it does have that feature. I don't want to be bothered by that or glued to it like some are to their phones. But friends use it, even tho it drives me nuts being out to lunch with them and they constantly flip their wrist and look, just like people do with their phones. Just a big personal annoyance that I won't get on here..haha. Hope this review helps. Especially for folks like myself, not so tech savvy or care to be but want to have enough know how to use neat things that are fun and helpful. Just try it out. And I am also not in a community or linked to friends when exercising. You can do that on the app, but it's just not me. There are all kinds of things one can do with these trackers. Best part is the settings and apps are such that you can do what you please, and move on! No pun intended :)

I can't afford a plan for a smart phone, so have to sync to my lap top or tablet. I need this for time, step and heart rate primarily. This watch fills the bill plus. Also, the size of the watch face is acceptable. The band is too large, but the color is attractive. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. Had to ditch the charge 3. It malfunctioned to the point of frustration. Charge 2 is the superior option. Just wish I could swipe the screen to show data.

Overall, I do think it’s great, I only found it a bit uncomfortable at first and just got a new strap which solved the issue for me. If you want all of this functionality then it is worth getting one, but if you really just need a tracker to get you moving more you can get a cheaper one with less features that will do the job just as well. I really like the sleep analysis you get with this, and the software has diet, weight loss and water intake features if you want to track that.

You can access info on the screen by pressing the side button or tapping the screen which is very responsive. If you just want to see the time you lift your arm and rotate towards you, and the time comes up along with whatever screen preferences you have set up. This movement takes a bit of getting used to and at first may be a little stilted and look like you are ostentatiously checking the time but becomes more natural with practice. All in all this is a great item with excellent functionality. Tracks exercise really well.

Premetto che ho acquistato questo esemplare per una mia amica dal momento che io già lo possiedo (felicemente), sia questo modello sia la versione precedente (Charge HR).
Personalmente lo trovo molto utile, a partire dalla semplice funzione di contapassi (che trovo piuttosto attendibile) fino al monitoraggio cardiaco e a quello del sonno.
Per chi come me svolge un lavoro sedentario, il promemoria orario per fare almeno 250 passi è un'ottimo strumento che motiva al movimento e a fare una pausa (quando possibile).
Per chi vuole tenere sotto controllo calorie e macronutrienti l'app offre uno strumento veramente completo: è possibile scegliere quello che si è mangiato da un database di alimenti veramente fornito, dove sono presenti sia gli alimenti generici sia i prodotti confezionati con tutti i valori nutrizionali, di tutte le marche, da quelle più note a quelle dei discount; e se una particolare confezione non è ancora presente è possibile inserirla.
La sveglia consiste in una vibrazione delicata e discreta: sembra quasi che una manina ti prenda il polso e lo scuota leggermente per svegliarti...
Tra le funzioni anche quella che fa svolgere delle sessioni di respirazione guidata, ma sinceramente io l'ho usata al massimo 3 volte.
Non posso valutare la funzione relativa alle notifiche di chiamate e messaggi perché non mi interessava e non l'ho mai attivata.
La possibilità di cambiare il cinturino (in rete se ne trovano di tutti i colori e per tutti i gusti, da quelli metallici a quelli in pelle vera) poi lo rende anche un accessorio sempre abbinabile, anche elegante quando serve.
Insomma, forse non è uno strumento professionale per sportivi professionisti, però a mio avviso è fondamentale per chi vuole prendersi cura di se stesso.

MAIS .... Le bouton sur le côté pour obtenir certaines activités est très mal placé ! un tactile total aurait été plus appréciable !
Toutefois et point négatif pour un bracelet à ce prix : il n'est pas IP67 donc éviter les bains, piscine et mer ce n'est même pas la peine d'y penser !
De même suite à changement de smartphone (passage du Galaxy S6 Edge Plus au Huawei Mate 10 Pro), le bracelet ne fonctionne que partiellement ...
Les pas, fréquence cardiaque, exercices : ok
Les notifications d'appels et SMS : ne fonctionnent plus (Fitbit a été contacté et ils sont incapables de dire quand la mise à jour sera faite ........). De plus, la synchronisation est très aléatoire ...

Vu le prix de ce bracelet, c'est un comble de ne pas avoir une prise en compte pour certains smartphones ! donc vous changer de smartphone, vous changer de bracelet connecté !

Fitbit nos trae su nueva Charge 2 una evolución del mejor y más vendido modelo de la marca, el Charge HR. Estamos ante una pulsera muy completa que mide multitud de aspectos de nuestro día a día y lo único que le falta es, quizas, un sensor GPS y un reproductor MP3 interno.

He estado usando la Charge HR durante un año, quedé tan contento que decidí darle una oportunidad a su sucesora. Después de una semana usándola, estas son mis impresiones.

El cambio de diseño se agradece. Estamos tanto a una mejora de materiales respecto a su anterior versión, como ante un diseño más bonito que además admite correas intercambiables por lo que puedes personalizarla a gusto o según tu look diario.

La pantalla es cuatro veces más grande que el modelo anterior, lo que permite mostrar mucha más información de un vistazo. Además de que es más útil en cuanto a notificaciones.

En cuanto a monitorización del ejercicio tiene más modos que el modelo anterior y puede registrar actividades de ciclismo, pesas,... . Por otro lado la encuentro más precisa a la hora de medir. Aunque sigue sin servir para deportistas, va más dirigida a gente que hace deporte por simple afición o para mantenerse en forma, dado que sus mediciones siguen alejadas de lo que permiten dispositivos más pensados para el deporte y no de manera general como este.

El resto de modos: monitorización del sueño, avisos para moverte, aviso para irte a dormir, alarmas... siguen funcionando perfectamente y son muy útiles para el día a día. Además que la aplicación de Fitbit sigue siendo la mejor de entre los cuantificadores que hay en el mercado.

En cuanto a duración de batería, depende del uso que le des. Pero calcula que con un uso muy intensivo 3 días, con un uso medio llega a los 5 días.

||Cosas a mejorar o que puedes echar en falta:||
* No se puede ver el nivel de batería desde la pulsera. El absurdo llega a tal punto que cuando la aplicación del móvil detecta que la batería está muy baja te envía un email, en vez de notificártelo en la pulsera.
* El ritmo cardiaco sigue sin ser del todo preciso en actividades deportivas. Fallando de forma significativa si se superan las 160ppm, aunque es más problema de las limitaciones del sensor óptico. Fitbit debería permitir conectar una banda de pecho al reloj o, al menos, a su aplicación de móvil.
* El análisis del sueño sigue siendo un poco justo respecto a la competencia que distingue entre sueño ligero, profundo y REM.
* Correas oficiales demasiado caras, al final tienes que tirar de soluciones de terceros.
* La pulsera no es capaz de ejecutar la aplicación en el móvil para coger la señal GPS. Si inicias una actividad desde la pulsera, tienes que abrir tu mismo la aplicación desde el móvil o no tendrás medición GPS.

¿La recomiendo? Sí. Personalmente estaba entre esta y un Apple Watch Series 2, pero al final observando todos los pros y contras me decidí por la de Fitbit y, por ahora, no me arrepiento para nada.

* El ritmo cardiaco sigue sin ser del todo preciso en actividades deportivas. Fallando de forma significativa si se superan las 160ppm, aunque es más problema de las limitaciones del sensor óptico. Fitbit debería permitir conectar una banda de pecho al reloj o, al menos, a su aplicación de móvil.
* El análisis del sueño sigue siendo un poco justo respecto a la competencia que distingue entre sueño ligero, profundo y REM.
* Correas oficiales demasiado caras, al final tienes que tirar de soluciones de terceros.
* La pulsera no es capaz de ejecutar la aplicación en el móvil para coger la señal GPS. Si inicias una actividad desde la pulsera, tienes que abrir tu mismo la aplicación desde el móvil o no tendrás medición GPS.

¿La recomiendo? Sí. Personalmente estaba entre esta y un Apple Watch Series 2, pero al final observando todos los pros y contras me decidí por la de Fitbit y, por ahora, no me arrepiento para nada.

ACTUALIZACION FINAL (03/10/2018) Aunque el servicio de atención al cliente de Fitbit es fantástico tengo que contaros mi situación, sobre todo por NO LLEVARSE SORPRESAS. Compré el producto en febrero de 2017, a los meses se rompió la correa que venía con el monitor (me provocaba alergia) y tuve que comprar una china, que fue un error, y al final compré la deportiva. Tras mi experiencia, cuidé el dispositivo y la correa con todo el cuidado para descubrir a los meses que la correa deportiva se rompía, presenté una queja y me enviaron otra correa. Al cabo de un año y medio la correa deportiva de sustitución se ha vuelto a romper y el dispositivo empezo a dar problemas, todos ellos en 2 semanas, 1º aparecieron líneas negras en la pantalla, líneas que no se iluminaban, 2º se fundió uno de los led del sensor cardíaco, 3º la batería empezó a hacer raros - consumos altísimos-, 4º muerte súbita del dispositivo, 5º vuelta a la vida y fundido del 2º led del sensor cardíaco. Al final he presentado una reclamación ante Fitbit y me han respondido lo siguiente, o reposición de un Fitbit Charge 2 (con todos los problemas ya conocidos) o 50% de descuento para la compra de un nuevo dispositivo Fitbit, PERO SOLO PARA : ionic, charge 2, alta hr, alta, flex 2, zip. El nuevo Charge 3, no, así que resumiendo o te gastas 160 euros en un Ionic, te guste o no el dispositivo, o repites los errores con un Charge 2, porque con el resto de dispositivos pierdes pantalla, funciones, etc. Así que, pese a tratar de negociar, me he visto obligado por Fitbit a cambiar a un Xiaomi mi Band 3 y desperdiciar 160 euros gastados en sus dispositivos y correas en menos de dos años. De vergüenza.

ACTUALIZACION (03/09/2018) Aunque el servicio de atención al cliente de Fitbit es fantástico, lamento decir que después de UN AÑO Y MEDIO, todos los problemas que he plasmado aquí (4 pulseras) etc .. no estoy contento con el producto y NO LO RECOMIENDO. Las 2 pulseras deportivas (1 comprada y la otra enviada por el SAT de Fitibit de manera gratuita) han terminado rotas, pese al mimo y cuidados extremos que he tenido con el dispositivo. En fin que ahora han surgido líneas muertas en la pantalla, funciona, pero la visualización falla.
Sabía que un dispositivo así no tendría una vida infinita, pero tras UN AÑO Y MEDIO estoy desilusionado, sobre todo porque le regalé a mi mujer otro dispositivo más viejo que el FITBIT y no ha dado ni un problema, y sigue funcionando como el primer día.
No sé qué voy a hacer con mi dispositivo pero no voy a gastarme un céntimo más en un producto que solo me genera problemas y preocupaciones. Luego cuelgo fotos.

Estaba buscando una pulsera de actividad para animarme a hacer más ejercicio y perder peso. Estuve entre ésta y la Garmin, pero elegí esta para empezar a hacer ejercicio, y sí necesitaba algo más complejo llegado el momento pues ya cambiaría. Esta pulsera es perfecta para la iniciación, echo de menos que sea impermeable y que la batería dure más, pero es un buen producto para iniciarse y empezar a hacer ejercicio. ACTUALIZACIÓN (27/03/2018) tras 1 año escaso, la compré en febrero del 2017, la pulsera, no el dispositivo, la pulsera es MUUUUY mala. Repito, el dispositivo es genial, LAS pulseras muuuuy malas, la estándar que viene se rompió a los 3-4 meses, compré una china y a los 3 meses para tirar, así que compré la original deportiva .. y bueno, mejor lo veis. Me la quito para ducharme, para lavarme las manos, la mimo y tras unos meses está así. ACTUALIZACIÓN (14/04/2018) estoy muy sorprendido, pues en menos de un mes desde que escribí a FITIBIT para presentar mi problema, he recibido respuesta, me han mandado una pulsera nueva gratis y han sido siempre amabilísimos. Estoy muy contento con el trato de la marca y espero que el producto haya mejorado. Los recomiendo.
