While it doesn't have all the features of more pricey watches, this watch does the basics right: time and distance, and--paired with the great Garmin Connect app--maps and other run data. It acquires GPS quickly, and the watch itself is very intuitive to use. I've read in some professional reviews that the heart rate is not fully accurate, but it at least goes in the right direction when running (up) and cooling down (down).
I would not hesitate to purchase this watch again. It is a great tool for a great price.

While I was a little concerned when I first put it on (because of its light weight and "mild appearance") I hoped it would hold up during my Spartan races. It's surprisingly durable and has been unaffected, having been subjected to lots of activity to include sand, mud, and water. I've only had it a couple of months so the jury is still out.
I would also definitely recommend the crystal protector.
Happy so far!
The app is easy to use. I had issues getting it to connect to strava, which was the main reason I bought the watch. But in the end, I think it was a strava issue and it got worked out. An added bonus for me was the pedometer! I never thought I would care how many steps I took. But I check this one all the time—and it makes me walk more, for sure.

Recomendo!
