Great mat, especially for the price. I bought it in March 2024. After using the mat for a few weeks, about a dozen times, I can report that any of the bad reviews can be ignored if you read the product information completely.

Smell: As stated in the product care instructions in the seller's description, the mat has a strong chemical smell. I wiped it down and let it air out for a day and it was fine.

Thin: Yes. And the description says it is only 0.2" thick.

Slippery: I didn't find this to be the case. It grips just enough and lets me move on the mat just enough.

Not good on hardwood floors: I disagree. I have hardwood floors and I didn't have a problem with the mat staying put, but my floors are not particularly shiny.

Oily: Not my experience at all!

I took it to my office, which is carpeted, and bought the GAIAM thick exercise mat for home. It's much nicer for my knees!
