Bought it about 6 months ago to build my 1st Gaming PC and I paired it with a Ryzen 2600x and a 34" Alienware Ultrawide Curved Monitor. Gaming at 3440x1440 is a blast turning off most of the useless features like Motion Blur and a few others I can get 60+ FPS. I recommend this card for everything but 4k Gaming it'll cut to mostly everything like butter.
Top of the line GPU under 1000 dollars. Compared to the 1050ti I had its night and day. The 1050 could only run at 60fps at low to medium settings for witcher 3. This beasts never drops below 60fps with ultra settings and hairworks turned up. I hated spending the money but I'm happy I did.
So I bought this card. From the day I bought this thing, it was a problem child. It constantly ran absurdly hot, like 60 celcius at idle. New thermal paste, new pads, finally having to install a water cooling rig, just to get it down to normal tempuratures. Ten months to the day after I bought it, it crashed and died. I'm kinda pissed about this, because I was expecting at least two years.

purchased this used and it's been great. since purchase i've installed a EKWB custom waterblock that cools GPU/MEM/VRM and it runs stable at a +165/550 core/mem overclock using MSI Afterburner.
Loved the GTX 1080Ti but was disappointed to get so little use out of it before this "Flagship" graphics card was usurped by the RTX. But I was able to use a second GTX 1080Ti I got dirt cheap second hand in SLI configuration and saved a cool grand on the years so-called "Flagship"
