There's so much to write about this but I'll try to keep it concise.

    Pros:
-I can listen with only one ear bud in and not get disoriented like the other higher end noise cancelling neckband headphones (comparing against the $299 Bose set)
-The sound quality is second to none for in-ear earbuds. Amazing depth and quality. I can hear people clearly when I make calls and listening to music is genuinely satisfying.
-on that note, the passive structure of the earbuds do a great job of cancelling out exterior noises when both headphones are in. Not the same level you get from over ear noise cancellation, but it's certainly adequate. Having multiple earbud rubber inserts definitely helps with that
-almost everything auxiliary is just right, the weight, the feel of the material, the length of the cord, how easy it is to pair with my phone, the color. All the little things are just right.

    Cons:
-there's no way to dock the earbuds. It's almost as if any neckband earbuds out there that cost more than $40 do not offer a feature to dock the earbuds when not in use, so they just dangle. I would argue that is the MAIN purpose of having headphones that have a neckband, somewhere convenient to keep them on you when not in use.
-battery life is not as excellent as my previous LGs. It's good, but it's not great. For casual use, I was charging my previous set once every couple of weeks. The same amount of usage, it seems like I have to charge them almost every other day.
-the cords feed out of the bottom of the neckband which seems a bit weird. Not overly uncomfortable or anything, just a bit inconvenient when I have to keep fiddling with whether it feeds on over the outside of the neckband or on the inside.

Overall I am very happy with this set. I've done hours of research, looking into the pros and cons of all kinds of sets from $5-$300 and what I've learned is that there is no perfect set. You have to figure out what you value most importantly and look for those features. For me, my biggest need was sound quality while making calls, and being able to function with only one ear bud in so I can still hear the environment around me. This set knocks that out of the park, the quality of sound is amazing, and I can still hear things that are going on in my peripheral. I really REALLY wish it had a way to dock the earbuds. I wear them significantly less than my old set because they do not dock and I don't want them to snag on anything. I will probably make a way to tie them up custom somehow down the road, but everything else a solid 9/10.

I previously owned a pair of HD1s, which still retails for $199 on Amazon, and needed to replace them. I discovered that the HD1s had been replaced by Momentum in-Ear Wireless Headset, and retails for $100 here on Amazon. I loved my HD1s, and the Momentum are the exact same headset, both in appearance and sound quality. Excellent bass response, very good high frequencies and clarity of the sound without a hint of distortion. I'm sure there's better out there, but not for a hundred bucks.

I'll get to the point about the Sennheisers in a second, but first some background. Like you, I have tried many brands and styles of on ear and in ear headphones, wired and bluetooth, noise reduction and not. I am partial to headphones with full rich sound with solid punchy bass. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon LG around the neck earbuds that were perfect. They lasted about 18 months before the battery died and of course I replaced them with another LG. which only lasted about three months before the plastic broke and one of the wires detached from the earbud -- at the start of a two week vacation! Sorry LG, never again! At the airport I found a pair of Sony earbuds that worked for the flight home, but were just so-so. Then I got the new Apple airpods as a Christmas present, and they have worked well for me. But even though they have never fallen out, yet, I am always fearful that they could, probably at the worst possible time. So I looked for another around the neck pair of in ear headphones and after reading many, many articles and recommendations, settled on the Sennheisers based on the comments about their sound. The reviews were spot on -- the wonderful sound that I was looking for. But some of the review comments indicated that the reviewers were concerned about how the neckband fit or the fact that the wires did not retract. Regardless, I bought them anyway. They look and sound fantastic! They are the perfect alternative to the airpods. I pretty much split my time between the Sennheisers and Apples 60/40. The battery life on the Sennheisers is awesome, and the sound is rich and full, just as I like. But some of the reviewers comments were correct, and maybe should have carried more weight in my decision. The fact that the buds are always dangling when not in my ears looks goofy and is something that is more negative than not. And I have a BIG 18-1/2" neck, but the neckband is always sliding so that one side or the other is 90 degrees out of whack from where it should be, which is annoying. Everything else is satisfactory or better -- controls, charging time, etc -- all non-issues. So if sound quality and battery life are your top issues, please consider these well constructed and good looking headphones that have superior sound. But if their design flaws will become an issue for you, maybe you should look at other options.

Have had two pair of these, an older model, and this. First one went out after 2 year warranty was up. I was happy enough with the products I just bought another. Second pair just stopped working in one ear, one year in. Tried calling Sennheiser at their contact phone number and recording said they were all away for a company function and suggested going to their website and then it hung up, no option to leave message or anything. Their website is a kafka-esque cacophony of dead ends. No email links, "live chat" bot redirects to the same useless how-to articles. I just want to submit a warranty claim. There is absolutely no help from on their site at all.

2yrs strong! Last about 9hrs at 90% volume. I love this Bass with the battery life and comfort. It's just easy or just lazy on me. I also own the "wired" A1? series gaming/low profile headphones. Not as good as these HD1s ? I hope it helps. ASMR bedtime approved! Don't tell Apple, I gave my Mom my earpods. It's hard not to be bias but still pumpin out good stuff. Only complaint, USB type C and maybe magnetic docking rechargeing.
Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2021
They have good sound quality, but I've had two pairs now that have had issues after less than a year. Considering the price I would hope I would get more than a year, since I've had ones that are a fraction of the cost last way longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Calidad de sonido excelente, no te arrepentirás
Reviewed in Mexico on January 23, 2018
