I struggle with finding something I think I want online, only to read the reviews and then second guess whether I actually want it or not. Buy it. I got a wild hair that I wanted a Dyson fan. Our master bedroom could use some purifying and constant air flow to get rid of the stuffiness and make it more comfortable to sleep at night. The AC comes on, but it is so cold, and so harsh. I was really hesitant to make this purchase because it was expensive, and it was something that I was worried I would regret. I was also worried that my boyfriend would hate it, but at least if he broke up with me because of it, I'd be single with a Dyson fan. It arrived yesterday, I set it up (easily), and we used it in our bedroom last night for the first time. It was amazing. I am convinced. I am a believer.

In fact, I'm going to purchase another one of the Dyson fans for our living room area as well.

This Pure Cool Link Desk fan really does cool the air somehow. It isn't an air conditioner, and isn't a perfect replacement for an air conditioner, but it does function as one to a decent extent. It will make the air slightly cooler and drier -- TOO DRY if you leave it running continually, on full blast for days. My only complaint is with the app and software. I was never able to register and link / connect my device to the app, so I can only run the fan on full strength (10). (You need to download the device app and link your fan to it in order to get the Bluetooth remote to work and to get the air status monitoring feature).
