I've been using my new toothbrush for about a week now I like it a lot, I had my old one for close to 20 years the brush itself screwed on and it had an empty space beneath it which allowed it to accumulate some grossness, this one does not have that empty space. However the brush does not snap on tight in the new one. Has a smaller charger then the old one I like that I can charge it and take it on a trip with me without packing the charger. 👍

I replaced my old Sonicare when the motor died out with this one. The motor in this is much better than when the prior (4100) was new. My teeth feel noticeably cleaner. I don’t use the multiple brush modes, but they’re nice to have available. My one complaint is the battery life is a bit worse than the old one, but still lasts a week and a half or so on a charge.

I was struggling to find another sonicare to replace my older one.
Tried two or three of the $49 models like the 4100 series previous generation and new, but none of those had a strong, fast, toothbrush head like my old $49 model.
This one I'm reviewing is a fantastic toothbrush and very much worth the extra $50. The brush head is so much stronger and faster than those other models. I don't often write reviews, so wrote this review to help others in my same situation. The Navy color with the black brush head look great too, which is an added bonus. Don't forget to disable the easy-start feature, so you can realize the true power and speed on first use. You don't need the easy-start feature enabled if you've had a sonicare and are used to the brush action.

Love this electric toothbrush! The only brand I buy and have never been disappointed. I think this is my 4th Sonicare in 20 yrs, they last that long! And I brush religiously morning and night. On this model I especially like the 3 different cleaning modes, regular, whitening and gum massage. Seems to last at least 2 wk between charging. Maybe a little more expensive than other brands but worth it for clean feeling after brushing. I have given quite a few of these as gifts, they are always amazed at how clean their teeth feel after that first brushing.

The Sonicare toothbrush does a great job. The timer takes some getting use to because 30 seconds goes by so quickly and before you know it, time to move to the next quadrant. It has a long battery life It comes with a nice travel case and a cover for the brush head to keep it clean between uses. Hold on to the instructions until you get use to what all the the lights mean. The only down side I found is there are different brush heads for different tasks, which are sold separately. The whitening brush head comes with the unit. Sold separately are the brush head for gum care another for cleaning.

I was not prepared for this toothbrush. It means business. It's really loud, too loud. I haven't had to charge it since the initial charge after it was delivered so the battery life exceeds expectation. Fair warning, when brushing try not to bump your other teeth. It feels like it could crack a tooth if you bump it with the back side of the brush. The brush head doesn't stay on. It works it's way off during use.

I was struggling with plaque along the gumline. My gums were inflamed and I had some bleeding when flossing and brushing. Since switching to this brush, my gums look great. In my opinion, Phillips electronic toothbrushes (there are many to choose from) are the best on the market. I may be biased, but I've used them for many years and still chose to purchase from Phillips, when needing a new one. BTW, brushing my teeth twice a day, mine have lasted for years before I had to get a new one. The warranty is very good as well. The toothbrushes have three settings, from "soft, medium, and advanced", so you can ease into using it. It cleans beautifully without hurting my gums, and I haven't had a cavity in years. (Caveat, I also use Phillips electronic water tflosser twice a day---another fantastic tool from Phillips.) I realize that this review may sound like an advertisement. It isn't, I'm just sold on the Phillips products that I use.
