The things you can do with the lights make it absolutely beautiful if you take the time to customize it. The Corsair software can enable you to change your keys to do almost anything you could want them to which is absolutely brilliant when it comes to gaming, and you can create multiple configurations that you can swap to very easily.
In fact, the only con this keyboard has for me is the fact that it's slightly weighty, maybe weighing as much as a small laptop, but this honestly just might be another benefit, as the weight can help keep it in place.
I absolutely love this thing and I'll be looking to Corsair for more equipment when i'll need it.
"Time to test this new keyboard. So far the keys feel really good. All of the keys function on arrival unlike the last keyboard. Most of the keys are pretty quiet except when a few bottom out they make a knocking sound, the spacebar is the worst offender. The media keys have a surprisingly high quality feel but spongy. Volume wheel although I'm not crazy about the placement feels nice. The only, backspace feels great btw, thing I can really gripe about is the included wrist rest. It's set at an odd angle that offers my wrist little to no support so it's more comfortable to hover over it than resting on it. Which made me care a little less that one of the hooks attached to it arrived broken. All and all I'm really happy with how everything feels and behaves. There is some usb passthrough "feature" that sounds silly and I see no benefit except for having quick access to a usb port for charging something. Spacebar maybe a little sensitive and this realization may turn this into a deal breaker, could be this stupid "wrist rest" though. God, backspace feels great though. The keys with stabilizer bars have a low rattle and a consistent throw. This is probably the first keyboard I don't feel the need to take part right away or at all."
The only thing I didn't think about were these extra "gaming" keycaps that were included. They're an interesting design to help you index the wasd, f, r, e, and q, keys with a textured surface. Can't say I'll ever use them because except for the S key they have an extra arch flair to cradle your fingers I guess, and I'd imagine this would make typing a pain. I may swap the S key cap, since it's flat, to see if it'll help with reacquiring wasd one of these days.
Oh, and it comes with RGB you can program or whatever.
