Robust operation
It is working great in an adverse environment.Using the original applehead cube.The thickness of the case and ceramic ring on the phone are at least 5mm.It charges fine even if the phone is off center in the cradle.With the iphone 11 pro max, the cube draws 6 watts (.05 amps) from the power company (116 vac wall outlet) and scales down to 1.5 watts when fully charged. If it is used in the cradle to watch a 4k video it draws 3 watts. When the cradle is empty it doesn't draw any power worth mentioning.It also works with the latest applehead iphone charger (18watt) that comes with the iphone 11 using an adapter (usbC male to usb female) or any Anker charger.I set it down and walk away in the dark without taking care to center it and it always works. The blue indicator, easily seen from a distance is a quick assurance that the connection is made and power is being maintained. The wireless charger is a real break from plugging a cable all the time.See pictures for illustration.
