Third: the weight and pack size is just right for backpacking trips if you want a spacious shelter w/o extra lbs. Finally: the double doors and vestibules! This was the main reason I purchased Meteor Lite 2(also weight). This convenient feature provides extra room, access, etc. and really sells the tent for me
CONS:
Nothing major, the fly cover colors are well…interesting?! Something more discreet or muted would be nice(just my opinion). An included footprint without compromising the price point much would be nice. Zippers seem a little flimsy, but no issues so far. Tent bottom kind of thin(partly to keep weight down)
So far l would definitely but this again and would highly recommend this tent. Hope this helps!

*My one complaint (so far) — the mesh bug netting is too lightweight. If you have ANY Velcro, even the newer micro hook kind, it will snag and make a run. This will of course leave holes for bugs to get in. This is a huge mistake by Sierra Designs! Clearly the material was chosen to save weight, but keeping out the skeeters is more important.

Things seem to seamed taped, but on the corners for the tub is very sloppy at least for me.
The zippers are off brand in a C shape zip which will cause stress on the zipper over time and may fail. The fly is seamed taped as well as the zipper stitching. The storm cover on the zippers are not and only have one velcro attachment on the bottom. With that expect the winds to kick over the flap exposing the zipper.
There is only one air vent and that is on the top and is large that gets closed up with one small strip of velcro. Mine came misaligned. Main issue with the vent is that the wind can kick it up and let the rain in unless you set up the tent in a position the wind doesn't blow against the vent. You also have to leave the tent to close the vent as it can only be done so on the outside.
The guy lines are easy to use and you don't have to know any knots to do them properly. The feet for the poles are also easy to use as well. They don't give you enough guy lines however and I do suggest that you get more guy line string for each end of the tent (foot and head ends) to pull the fly away from the tent. This will give you more airflow as well keep the tent from dripping of moisture onto you. The guy lines are reinforced which is a plus.
This tent, for the price, does not come with a footprint. You will have to buy it separately.
The three person tent is pretty wide and it can fit three sleeping pads of regular size in it. I don't recommend it for three people however because there is very limited space for the gear of all three. With only two doors you can fit one bag on each side but the third will have to be inside the tent or covered outside of the tent all together.
The tent can be put up somewhat easily and it only takes one person. It does need to be staked out first before you put in the poles. Also, the poles are split into two and the 2nd smaller piece does sit awkwardly on the other pole set.
A good thing about the tent is that you can flip the fly half way to get more airflow and even stargazing. The bad thing about that is that there are no way to be private. Some tents come with mesh that makes it easy to see out of the tent but harder to see in, this tent only has regular mesh all the way. So if you do take this for car camping in a paid spot close by other people, you may not want to have the fly this way.
The tent package is interesting. It is packed into a burrito shape bag and the fabric is water tight but not seamed. The bag for the poles also have a 2nd slot for the stakes.
The tent stakes are light but very small. I would suggest that you replace them.
Being in the tent will make it pretty warm for you. So try to pitch it in the shade or put another tarp over this tent to reduce the heat buildup. This is a three season tent, not a four season that Amazon tries to sell you. Not sure why Amazon put that misinformation on the tent, even the tag and manual of this tent says three season. I won't recommend this in winter. I do recommend it for spring, summer, and fall.
The weight for a three person tent is not horrible. I can see myself using this for backpacking since I can split the weight with the other person(s). If solo hiking I would recommend the two person tent.
Hopefully this review can help you in deciding to buy it. It is not the worst tent I have seen but I would still recommend you getting it on discount than the full price. If you are not worried about the high price then I would suggest looking at MSR or NEMO.
