Died after 2-1/2 months.
When it worked it worked great.I purchased the Wahoo Tickr on November 27th 2023, it died today February 11, 2024. I went to change the battery this morning and notice a rust spot on the edge on the battery which was likely caused from moisture intrusion around the battery cover, which fried it circuits.**UPDATE**I contacted Wahoo Fitness, explained the problem, sent some pics and they concluded my Tickr was defective. They are replacing the defective unit at no cost. I'd give Wahoo 5 Stars on Customer Service. The Tickr device worked extremely well when it functioned, however the battery cap on the unit I received was its achilles heal....it was flimsy. The battery cap has (3) lugs which secure to the Tickr body and each of the lugs has a notch which locks it into place. The problem with my battery cap was the area of the lug above the notch snapped off and that created a problem with the caps ability to seal.

Buy this product if you want frustration. Buy this product if you want to waste 10 minutes trying to get it to connect prior to your workout. Buy this product if you want it to lose connection during your workout.

Nothing but problems with this HRM… since purchasing I’ve had to waste time trying to get it to connect before my workout over 50% of the time. (Very frustrating when I’m geared up and ready to leave for a ride) Ive had times where it won’t connect at all, I’ve had it disconnect during workouts. I’ve head times where it didn’t connect and then connects randomly during a ride.

My phone and apps are updated, I do not store it with the strap connected and I’ve put a new battery in multiple times hoping it would solve my issues. It always has a good connection point to my body. It is stored on a shelf and has not been abused in the bottom of a gym bag. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

Very comfortable to wear, and works well with my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt.

Straps stays tight for normal rides, but I have had it slip down during cyclocross races - but those included a lot of running and jumping on/off the bike so can't really fault the strap.

Knocking off 1 star because a few times I just couldn't get it to pair with my head unit no matter what I did. The next ride, it would pair instantly.

I agree with a previous response. After about 4 months, I started having issues with the monitor not connecting to the App. In my mind, I was cleaning and replacing the battery properly. I contacted the Support Team who sent me directions to try some basic steps to get the monitor to connect. As I said, in my mind, I was doing all the steps that was recommended. Then, I read the instructions again for the 50th time and it said 'RECOMMEND A PANASONIC BATTERY'. I overlooked that detail after all a battery is a battery right. NOT. A PANASONIC battery was hard to find in the stores so I actually ordered from AMAZON and that was the trick. Now, the monitor works perfectly. I have also incorporated cleaning the band and the monitor after every use. I might add, the Support Team did send me another monitor. Great customer service!

It worked fine for a few months then I started getting intermittent connection to bike computer. I thought it might be that I was riding in colder weather and not sweating enough to make good contact with strap. But even after it warmed up I still was getting spotty or no results.
Came upon the flip the battery reset, tried that and it seemed to work. But the same problem returned after a couple of weeks.
The odd thing about this reset technique is only one battery terminal makes contact (the center spring).
Another irritating thing is the circular battery cover can get easily broken and Wahoo does not sell replacements.
I replaced it with another brand. It's now a spare that I'll try using with a second bike & computer.
Bottom line: I lost confidence in the unit and company. Would not purchase another one of these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nach 3 Monaten regelmäßigem Einsatz immer noch alles bestens
