Researched for hours between Oral-B and Sonicare. I've had both in the past.Read several studies, ADA, tons of reviews... Was going to buy the Oral-B iO6 but ultimately anded on the Oral-B iO7. The ONLY reason I chose the 7 was for the fast charge magnetic base, which is the only real difference between the two and unnecessary.IT WORKS GREAT!! I take good care of my teeth and am picky. This really does make it feel like you just came from a professional cleaning at the dentist. I can't get over it!Just buy the iO6 if you want to save money and don't care that it takes longer to charge. The only con is the brush is kind of loud (72 db) but it's worth it and I'll get used to that. Either way, you wont be disappointed in the results!

I ordered this after trying out another Oral-B model and loved it! The spinning brushes are quiet and smooth. Its timer gives you a delicate pause designed to help you maintain the recommended cleaning time, but doesn't "stutter" to communicate its point. It has an amusing display on the front that lets you choose from 7 cleaning modes, shows you how full or low the battery is, and that frowns or smiles, depending on how long you've brushed your teeth. (It recommends 2 minutes.) The on/off switch is also sensitive to the touch, unlike the pro 1000 that I had to remove from my mouth in order to to find the switch and then press -- hard. Finally, this comes with a travel case, which is convenient for storage when I travel. In short, I'm delighted with my purchase.

I’ve been looking for a toothbrush that actually makes my mouth feel clean and dentist-fresh! I really enjoy using the app on my phone to follow along and make sure I am getting a thorough clean on all areas of my teeth. I didn’t realize how much I was missing!

It also reminds you to floss, use mouthwash, and the app allows you to make personalized goals. Mine right now is to whiten my teeth, and I am using this alongside “moon” whitening strips and my teeth are already whiter within 2 weeks. It was pricy but turned out to be worth it in my opinion, I would recommend this to folks for sure :)

This is definitely an upgrade from my previous Oral-B electric toothbrush. This does leave my teeth feeling smoother, as compared to my previous basic model from Oral-B. It's a bit more complicated to use, with the app, but maybe that information will be beneficial; if not, it can still be used with just the brush by itself.

If you use a VPN, your experience with the app could be hindered. For instance, in the week's time I've used this the 30 second mark that buzzes within the handle of the brush has only worked during one session—all other times it did not buzz. I'm guessing that has to do with the VPN interfering with a split-second real-time connection. In addition, the ring lights that show pressure are not split-second accurate either, not always registering. Maybe the VPN has nothing to do with it, but I'm guessing this is the reason for the bugginess.

The screen is not as "retina" display looking as the product images show; It is pixelated and not as polished. And it's worth noting my hunch was right: that you hardly look at the screen, so paying less for the black and white version, versus the color, was worth the savings.

I can note that my other hunch was right: I didn't need to pay the additional money for the extra sensitive feature that comes with the iO8 or iO9. The basic sensitive function that comes with the iO7 covers my sensitively needs, and is even a mode I rarely use.

Lastly, the biggest x-factor of this new iO series is the cost of the brush heads. So far, unlike all previous models, there are no generic alternatives. The cheapest I've seen these is at $9 a brush head, which is quite costly.

All-in-all, I could recommend this brush as a means to keep your teeth very clean, and hopefully as a means to "keep" your teeth. That was my main motive with this brush, as I don't like going to the dentist, but would like the ability to fight plaque, tarter, and all those things that lead to loosing teeth.

I find that the brush tracking software is not too accurate; it will register as being on the wrong section of teeth.

Someone had asked a question about the difference between the iO 6 and iO7: it would seem to be that the iO7 has the magnetic charging base, a different case, and an additional brush head; the tooth brushes themselves seem to be the same.

Lives up to the claims of a teeth cleaning similar to the dental hygienist can accomplish. Dental hygiene I believe affects the entire body, good or bad. So I decided the old manual brush just did not cut it. A battery powered brush is the only way to properly clean teeth IMO. Battery life has not been an issue although I have not traveled with the unit. The charger would be easily packed for travel if needed so not an issue. This model Oral B is not a 'Smart' variety and I just felt that feature was not needed. It does have a 2 minute timer which is quite nice IMO. I feel the money spent was well worth it. We will see how long term operability and reliability holds up.

Best tooth brush ever, it cleans like there is no tomorrow, way better then my previous 7000 rotating oral b, not that noisy, no easy to find the off button when finished and since this cleans a lot, if you remove it from your mouth it will splah your miror, trust me this is a ''beast'' that you can simply change setting if too hard to a more gentle, am not using the application on my phone (who does that really...) love the light that says green when your doing it with enough pressure or not not enough, etc. The case is simply the cheapest thing ever, i did not get the one showed, for that price it should be a better case, that is probably worth $0,25 at best. Don't go for the 8 or 9 series because there is color on the screen, your never really looking at it and the gap for pricing is huge for nothing. I highly reco this product, at least from my own point of view, so far so good! PS it is true that the brushes are bigger so maybe a very small mouth would have issues reaching out the back. If you buy this get ready for a change, to me rotating is out never again!

I use the toothbrush a few times a week. When not using, it was always placed on the charging dock. However, since late 2022, once in a while, when I wanted to use it again, it switched off automatically within seconds it was switched on, showing "0% battery", with flashing red light.

I use the toothbrush a few times a week. When not using, it was always placed on the charging dock. However, since late 2022, once in a while, when I wanted to use it again, it switched off automatically within seconds it was switched on, showing "0% battery", with flashing red light.

Very Frustrated.

I decided to not detract stars for only including one head when they've advertised two because that's an issue with the seller and not the item. I've left seller feedback. Brush itself is great and pressure sensor especially.
