Love the friction caddy, great size, though May obstruct some vision depending where you place it. I put it to the left of console in the nook where the small side window occupies. I had to get a $50 traffic cord to get traffic updates without going Thru my data.

The interface is slightly different. It shows past favorites icons which I find distracting, cluttering up screen. The size of screen 7” is lists bigger than my previous one and so easier for me to read with my glasses.

I do wish there was some way to make it easier to read the screen when sun is shining on it. Also my old one had the stop route function ALWAYS on main map screen. But this one you have to go to another screen to end navigation.

I really can’t get voice recognition to function

A 2 star because no ones wants to type in the address on the device at this age, everyone wamts to search on the phone, then send to the devive, I bought this GPS specifically because of this need, the smartlink app does provide the functionality but it can search only nearby locations, so if I want to search for a location in another state, I would have to be there first before I can search for it. Kind of defeats the entire purpose.
