Decent drone, medium fun, should have Remote Controller though

Decent drone, medium fun, should have Remote Controller though
*Note – This does NOT come with the FPV Remote Controller 2, and instead only has the Motion Controller to pilot the drone. You can buy the FPV Remote Controller 2 separately, and that currently costs around $250.Here are my thoughts on this package though:IN THE BOX: Inside the main box there are two separate boxes:-Box 1 has the Avata drone itself, USB-C to USB-C cable, drone battery charger, 2 extra propellers, extra screws, and instruction manuals-Box 2 has the headset, antennae, headband strap, battery, Motion Controller, power cable for headset, USB-C cable, and USB-C OTG cable.(Note that there is no power brick, every device assumes you already have one nowadays)SETUP: Setup takes a little while, as you have to install the DJI Flight app on your phone, charge the drone battery, charge the external headset battery, and charge the motion controller. Then you have to connect to the drone, headset and controller in the app, and download the latest firmware for everything. The downloading alone took about 10 minutes. Also you have to screw on the antennae for the headset, and there is a slot on the side of the headset for a microSD card (not included).FLIGHT: After all this, you follow the prompts to get up and running. If you are not familiar with drone flying, this setup with the motion controller is DEFINITELY not what I would suggest for learning how to fly a drone. The controls on the motion controller are not very intuitive at all, and I have no idea why this package would not ship with the FPV Remote Controller 2, since that would be much easier to learn with. It took me a little while to get used to this style of control, even with some drone experience.DRONE: I actually like the drone itself, and I thought that the propeller guards were a nice safety design. I would like to test it out more, but honestly, I’ll have to wait for the Remote Controller 2 to arrive because I found the Motion Controller to be too annoying to use.So, for now, I will give this package 3 / 5. The drone seems pretty cool, and it is a unique experience to use the headset, even though I found it to be a little disorienting at first. It does seem like a gimmick that might get old quickly though, because it isn’t really particularly useful. I think in general it is easier to control a drone without the headset, and absolutely easier without the motion controller. My friend that had no drone flight experience found it to be incredibly difficult, and quickly gave up in frustration.I might update this review after trying this with the Remote Controller setup, if that changes my opinions.
