    I bought this watch for my vacation last minute I made sure to buy overnight delivery because ai would be leaving in 2 days and I wanted a new watch for my trip. Long and behold the delivery date, the watch was about 2 hours away from my house at a random location in a different state that was weird to me but I figured Amazon was just doing a lot of deliveries, but when I checked it said my watch “ couldn’t be delivered “ “because there was no place to put it “ I have a clear and marked place to leave packages outside my house the delivery also said it would try later that day so I waited patiently and changed the delivery location to be my front door again the delivery said they couldn’t deliver even though the delivery never came anywhere near my house .

    Later that day When I contacted support they pushed me from person to person for TWO HOURS. Then the “supervisor “ hung up on me even though I was calm and patient the whole time i called back and told a representative what happened to me and he quickly got me to another supervisor “who didn’t even fairly compensate , help to just ship another or the same watch out with shipping for the same day so long story short i had to wait until after my vacation to get my new watch

    For the review of the watch I completely love it I used to have the Apple Watch series two ,and the Apple Watch Series 3 . The series 8 did a wonderful job of keeping the same style while upgrading dramatically the screen is much harder to scratch and bigger the touch responsiveness is amazing and doesn’t fail like previous models all in all i love this watch and i might get one for my mom just not through Amazon

    This is my 3rd Apple Watch I've owned. 3, 4, then 8. I upgraded to the 4 after a year because I thought the new features of the iWatch 4 was cool. But all the watch feels like the same thing, even with the new features, The 4's battery finally started to get old and wasn't lasting all day for me. I waited until the watch 8 went on sale in preparation for the iWatch 9 roll out. The best part of my upgrades have been the screen size increase. 42mm, to 44mm, to 45mm. The 42 to 44 was a big improvement, and even the 44 to the 45 is surprisingly amazing, the buttons are larger and easier to press. So far the battery life on the 8 is great. I've always had the GPS/Cellular version since I felt what's the point of the watch if I couldn't leave the phone behind. I'm not sure how often I actually leave the house without my phone, so I don't know if the $10 a month I pay to the cellphone company is worth it, but I like having the option. Battery replacement for the 4 was listed at about $80 at the Apple Store. I think 4 years from now, maybe I'll just replace the battery on this watch.

    Reading text messages.
    Using Siri to make calls, and set timers, Send text messages
    Silent alarm with vibration.
    Accessing apple heath, and other health apps to track workouts

    My 4th one so far. It’s great for workouts to keep track of my steps, heart rate and Vo2 Max. I also like that it will do an EKG and measure O2 sat, especially since I have asthma and it’s good to be able to check. I have another one that’s WiFi only, which I still wear at home, but this cellular option is nice because I can go for a walk and not lug my phone every time. I can easily make phone calls, or listen to music and my activity app is working in the background. You definitely need to sync to air pods though if you want decent sound because the watch is not loud enough on its own and who wants to walk around with their wrist stuck to their ear.

    love the watch itself, battery life not so much, but the body of the watch is all pitted and discolored. Six months in, and if I don't use a cover screen protector it would look horrible.
