I clean PCB's with it, and it seems to work great. I really don't have experience with another ultrasonic to compare too, so buyer beware.
But, here are some of the features:
1. It has a heater. (takes 15-25 mins to heat up)
2. It has a non-adjustable sweep function. You press the button while running, and it's in sweep mode.
3. It has a degas function.
4. Shuts off cleaning function after timer is up.
So, as far as i know, it has every feature I thought I needed, and makes a very noticeable difference on the PCB's I clean. Like I said, this is my first ultrasonic, So i really can't speak to how well it removes corrosion under BGA chips as louis rossmann recommends the Crest for, but for general flux removal on newly assembled PCB's, and removal of minor corrosion on an exposed PCB face, it is absolutely fantastic.
