Product Description
The Next Level in Sealing Power from the First Name in Tubeless
For nearly fifteen years Stan has been quietly formulating a special racing version of our legendary sealant for many of cycling's most successful teams. Working with athletes who push themselves and their tubeless systems to the absolute limit, we've developed a proprietary sealant formula with close to twice the amount of our standard sealing crystals plus our special XL crystals capable of sealing even larger punctures.
Stan's Race Sealant's combination of large and smaller sealing crystals interlock to form a lattice work that not only seals but strengthens and reinforces the area of the puncture, allowing for an entirely new level of sealing performance.

Well, it's good. It will seal things my other sealants (stan normal sealant, orange sealant, and a couple of others) will not. That also surprised me because i didnt really expect it to work better. This will also seal broken tape (don't ask why i tested that ;-), while others wont.
I've tested this on 3 bikes to be sure. A road bike with 32mm tires and rims that werent made for tubeless, and 2 mtbs with modern tubeless rims/tires.
Pros:
- actually seals larger holes and more little tire/rim, or even taping issues
- no air loss after a month (I'd get air loss with regular sealant after a week)
- it can go through your valve's stem (do remove the valve from the stem) without clogging despite official recommendations. just use an injector with a large hose and go slow. Small hoses will clog, going too fast will clog. I've checked the entire stem afterwards, no problem.
- it didnt dry after a month in my 60F climate
Cons:
- well it cost more ;-)
I'll see if it dries faster after 4-5 month, but so far it seems to behave well - and in any case, the added "sealing power" is already worth it
I heard about the race sealant, and figured I'd give it a try. I've run it in several tires on different bikes for this season, and ultimately, I don't know as it's really any better than the normal sealant. Part of the problem here is you often don't know about flats that you didn't get because of the sealant, illustrated by the number of times I've pulled off a tire and discovered some big thing sticking into it, so it's hard to say if a different sealant works better - you can really only convincingly say that it didn't work as well.
I did experience two flats (or at least brisk leaks) that the race sealant wasn't able to seal - one involved a rusty nail that measured just under 2" long and although it sealed in the tread, it came out just above the bead on the sidewall. Don't think anything would have been able to seal that. The other one was a decent sized hole that I don't think the normal sealant would have had any luck with, but from what I've seen, I would have expected the Race sealant to have had better luck. Combine that with the extra difficulty of not being able to inject the race sealant through the valve hole, I think the stuff is good, but not really worth the increase in effort over the usual stuff.
This stuff rocks. If you're lucky you can get it through the valve, but will most likely will have to unseat a bead of the tire and pour it in.
