Product Description

Peaty's Foaming Drivetrain Degreaser is the ultimate bike specific, high strength foaming drivetrain degreaser. Our powerful biodegradable formula has been designed to be tough on grime for fast and powerful drivetrain degreasing, while remaining kind to the rest of your bike and the environment. Application Apply liberally to the cassette while cycling the chain backwards, building up a thick layer of foam. Apply directly to any other areas not already coated such as crank arms, derailleur bodies or jockey wheels. If you have a bike stand, run through all of your gears several times to agitate the grime. Agitate any stubborn areas where needed then leave to soak for two minutes. Rinse off thoroughly with clean water. Dry the chain using a clean cloth. Apply Peaty's LinkLube

Brilliant stuff. I was interested because I hoped the foam would stick to most areas to soak in and not run off, and it has! I'm very impressed it has left my drive train sparkly.

This stuff isn't magic but it's close, just spray let it sit for a bit , maybe a minute or two then scrub and you're all good, great product.

It foams well, and washes off well.
Doesn’t seem to get into bearings etc.

You do need to agitate the foam to get best effect.

If the chainset is covered in thick old oil/grease, like a black goop, it will not remove it.
