Brand new, as advertised. This is a GREAT lid. Got the desert brown color @ 99$ for some reason so check the colors and maybe you'll save 100 bucks!
If you're in extreme hear the forehead pad that comes installed should be replaced with the rubber "channeled" pad that will guide sweat away from your face. The pad that comes installed does not do very well at keeping it from falling into your eyes/glasses.
